I'll givea hint - they played for NZ. It was just over 15 years ago.

After researching the databases of all cricket-playing nations and drawing a blank,it occured to me that maybe I was researching the wrong gender.Bingo ! Rosemary and Elizabeth Signal played together in a Test for NZ v. England in 1984.

The Waughs were the 1st males. A cricket mate of mine asked me this question, and everyone in the team thought the waughs, and this guy's credibility was put in to question till we found out the answer !

Correct,Roopy.Underarm has only been banned in One-dayers.It is still Ok in Tests and any matches played under MCC Laws.
Can,t wait for Brett Lee to send down an underarm rocket next time we play NZ.
