that doesn't sound good
If true, it is not good at all.
Whoever did the original scope of works and planning *may* have something to answer for. It depends on the situation.
It was originally built a long time ago now.

In saying that, until it is formally been said I won't speculate too much. It's already a big enough shit show.

The guy who told me that has no reason to lie or make it up. He was just passing on what he’d heard. Can’t vouch for his source of info though. But yes, he said it was a massive shit fight

seeing more and more sharks/shire people complaining and turning on this place hey
I've said a million times I reckon this has been by design. The lack of anything done to the ground, building right up on top of the ground so there's no room for the slightest grandstand expansion and now this with the club, it's been earmarked for apartments for years I suspect.

I have no plans to go to a game this year, they took away the northern concourse as GA and last week there were seats empty everywhere. Good job Dino, lost atleast 8 people per home game. I’m not alone either.

I would be totally ok with Allianz now. Honestly I don’t really care.

100%, the design actually lends itself to it being easily accommodated, wouldn’t surprise me if plans exist.

At what point though does Dino drop the bomb.

If the masses are starting to get restless it may be soon. Can't keep just putting out half arsed and vague statements about fit outs and handovers.

When we got that cheque way back in 2012? to keep the club afloat we obviously had no bargaining power what so ever so probably just agreed to anything to get that quick cash injection.

Members in attendance at the AGM will have sensed my disappointment as to the progress of discussions between the Sharks and the Woolooware Bay Town Centre developers, and subsequently about the continued delays in the finalising of plans to begin the build and fit out of our Leagues Club.

As also mentioned on the night, while I would like to provide more detail as to what is holding up the process, legally we are bound by a confidentiality clause and at this point in time I cannot elaborate or provide further detail as to the challenges being faced.

I totally understood the frustration being felt by the Members at the AGM and we certainly share in those frustrations, however what I can say is that we are doing everything in our power to advance the process, while protecting our interests at the same time.

Our relationship with the developer is amicable and conversations are continuing every day. Realising an outcome that allows the Club to be built remains the priority for both parties.

As soon as there is something to report, we will immediately update our Members, and like you, we are hoping that will be sooner rather than later.
