Like where is our funding like there are no tax payers that live in the Shire…like all this tax payers money for a team that just plays at Leichhardt a few times a year…
Maybe if the Shire has less brain dead Liberal Party voters and didn’t vote it into safe white supremcist territory then maybe an incumbent government would care to fund it for the votes.

I have olive skin you are making it sound we live Mississippi…lol
Don’t worry I’m brown myself but doesn’t change the fact that the Shire actually voluntarily voted ScoMo in (and speakman for that sake) with a greater margin than any other MP in their own seat.

Next someone will be bringing up the riots - wear a flanno to bring back Flanno
10 years apart? within reason.
2005- the Riots
I remember I'd been playing cricket for the Newtown Chokers on Sunday and we all went back to The Golden Barley (my local, and also big sponsor of the Jets), and my local mates all were sticking me into contemplation because I was a Shire born person.
I shook my head and got a beer.
My average was firm at 103.50, runs per innings.
No nuclear world would bring me down.

A bit of talk of the Development, it seems that the original Development deal, signed back in 2011, did not stipulate a "Sunset Clause", a date to finish the project.
When the contract was renegotiated in late 2018 there was no way the builder was allowing that in, which I get as I wouldn't either if it had been left out.
So from putting together what they're saying, or not saying more to speak, they are waiting for certain aspects of the builders requirements to be finished before construction can take place. If they were to take the hand over now the future burden would be on the club, not the builder.
They don't say this, I'm just reading between the lines, and having dealt with construction and contracts for a long time it seems very feasible to ascertain that's where they are at.

Correct.
And the fact no one has the balls from the club to front up and address this says a lot.
So what we currently have as a ground, stadium or let’s just call it a giant porta-loo - ain’t moving into the future anytime soon.
Absolute disgrace and just DUMB.
