Don't believe anything Pogo posts about.
it is al delusional dribble from the mind of a pathetic individual from fantasy land.
Notice how there are never any names, no ideas, no facts to anything he ever posts.

Oxygen thief.

easy to blame a coach, he s not the one misses the tackles or drops the ball.

The above statement can't be argued with on face value. You have also said that our squad is just not good enough. At what stage does the coach become accountable for the squad we have?

when he has a good side, not one with a pygmie pack and some disintersted show ponies and has beens!

coaches are over rated.

WTF? The coach is accountable for picking a good squad , but is not accountable for picking an ordinary one!!

I think you misinterpreted my question. I was saying that if the squad is not up to standard, then the coach (as someone with a major say in recruitment) is in part responsible for this.

the club offered luke bailey 80,000 more than he was offered elsewhere...he rejected that

mason was made an offer and rejected that

berrigan likewise

we ended up with darren mapp a reject and ben ross a reject and tevita latu and ben pomeroy.

the latter two will be worthy buys, ross well we will have to see if he is a worthy replacement for stevens, personally i think he would need to improve markedly.

tell me the last really good player cronulla unearthed either as a local junior or a junior bought in from another area, over decades our recruitement is pathetic, be prepared for more of the same in coming years unless the board is rissoled!!!

clearly when compared to other sides our roster is sh*thouse

yet raper has them in the 8 when ricky stuart with all his resources doesnt!!

yet raper cops the sausage week in week out from backflip and has been etc!

weird!

while i agree we dont have a particularly strong side that becomes irrelevant to the game plan which is always on show

things happen in order according to this game plan

do you honestly say that we play to our strengths and to the opposition (whoever that may be) each week?

mate be serious....kimmorley is the play maker

you quoted mellor and gallen as top class players, really?

does a top class player have the ball security of gallen, he has been worked out by other coaches, he hardly ever offloads anymore.

vagana is the class player and how will he ever get the ball when the show pony aka the pope phil bailey wont pass the pill!!!!

dykes is borderline and peachey falls short of that!!

the roster is sh*thouse!!
