A DESIRE to play at a higher level will see Bathurst Panthers centre Jason Thorne link up with 2003 Jim Beam Cup Premiers The Entrance in 2004., The 25-year-old has his feet firmly on the ground after partner Krista gave birth to a baby boy, Brooklyn, last week, and the former Penrith Panther is ready for a big season in 2004., Thorne will move to the Central Coast in mid to late January. The Entrance start training on January 6, but coach Matt Parish has granted Thorne some extra time with his family before he leaves Bathurst., Next year will be a step up from Group 10, but Thorne is more than capable of handling the rise in intensity. In his decorated career he has played lower grades for Penrith, and represented Group 10, Western Division and NSW Country., He feels he will be comfortable playing in a strong side with good footballers at a high level., "I think I'll be okay with it,” Thorne said.,
