Cheers mate :)

Xinjiang really is a hidden gem of a place. I took over 500 photos in the five days I was there. Just breath-taking scenery along the Karakorum Highway and in the Taklimakan Desert.

I've got some photos from Lianyungang I could share as well. The home of the Monkey King isn't quite as breath-taking, unfortunately.

A young girl passed away down in Shepparton and the family commissioned my dad to do one of his scrap art sculptures to be displayed at the young girls horse club. It turned out fantastic IMO.

Should petition the NRL to commission one for each club.

Would be awesome, each club a gift from the NRL, somewhere at their home ground.

Hell some clubs have two grounds.

Get moffo onto John Grant, hell data3# can pay.

Yeah, he is real talented mate, he had to go back to work at the council and do the sculptures on the side as a lot of money has dried up out there for art.

Here's some smaller works

those pieces are awesome beave, but it's not easy being an independent artist. A friend of mine is and as much as she loves what she does, she's all to aware that is not a viable source of a livelihood.
She drew this amazing drawing of a rhino for me as a present, I will post a picture of it when I can be bothered

They're awesome. I know someone who used to work with metal for similar sculptures. Never anything like that though.

Dragon, this one's for you. I've posted this before, the rain dragon is in a park at Lockhart in the Riverina, dad won first prize in an art show with it.

does he draw them first? or just build from a image in the mind?

I think he just has ideas in his head and just goes for it. He can draw like a demon as well, when he was in the army he used to draw caricatures of his mates and other lads in his unit and they used to get put up around the squadrons boozer (bar) back in the 80's.
