Heart wrenching stuff mang. Lost my dog around two years ago. Never cried so hard in my life.

Had my pup from when I was six and he was a few weeks old. 15 odd years later he passed and it was so heart breaking. Dogs are the friend that is always there for you and always love you no matter what's going on. Here's to Grotty, Suzie and all the other lost best friends.

Somewhere down the line we will probably get another dog, I will love it with all my heart but I just can't see how it will ever be the same as Suzie.

At the moment we're thinking about some memorials we will have around the house and out in the front yard where she's been buried. Going to splurge a bit on this because she's worth it. Primarily a plaque that will have her name, her d.o.b/death, a quote (most likely "We were but stones, your light made us stars") and one of the 100s of pictures I've taken of her.

I lost a dog last year and carved her name in a big tree straight out the back. We have also left her metal food dish at the base of the tree, so we see this all the time...we will never forget her.

Must be a Pearl Jam fan, absolute love Light Years. Flogged over Christmas remembering people close to us that have passed or couldn't be with.

Apparently had a cracked tile in the roof, which we noticed after this.

We were concentrating on draining water from our back area we are in the middle of re-pavering, didn't even hear this happen, partner noticed it when she walked past going to the toilet.

we have a broken roof tile and the bathroom ceiling started leaking yesterday, my dad had to make a hole to let the water out easy so the whole ceiling wouldn't come down, that would be mighty awkward

Yeah I heard about that method afterwards, but didn't know about the broken tile so wouldn't of even thought about doing it.
