Would love the Cowboys this year but the G/F will most probably be between the Panthers and the Storm with the Panthers winning. It will be their 5th G/F in a row which will be damned good in this day and age of the NRL and possibly become 4 in a row winners, leaving only 7 more in a row to make the eleven.

Unfortunately Cowboys cannot play Panthers in the GF. If they beat the Knights as expected they play the loser of Storm v Scumulla & if the beat Scum they will play Panthers in the prelim final. After seeing Panthers win in a canter last night it should be Panthers v Storm GF which will be a cracker.

We should all take note of what a great club Penrith is, whilst the Dragons with probably the biggest nursery in the league have managed to f$#k up all the opportunities that were presented to them over the last 10-12 years. Our admin and management of the club is disgraceful, embarrassing and shameful, just think the mighty red V hasn't got one team into the finals and it hasn't now for a few years. Really that is a disgrace for such a proud club. I hope the panthers win again. Lets see what next year brings but I can tell you this, patience is wearing extremely thin, these really are my worst times of the year.

I remember when I was watching us play Penrith late in the season and being in awe of how fast and clean every play was. It really is like watching a machine in action. Their halfback goes okay too......
The Panthers is the Club of the Decade. They will continue to be a powerhouse of a Club for many, many years. They will have a new ground in a few years time - maybe 2027 and watch them then.

Their nursery is vast and their systems have been tested well and truly and because they have won three in a row already and keep being top 4 they know their systems work and will pass these down for players of the future. Success brings success.

There is a salary cap I know so players will come and go and maybe, they might have to bring in some other constraint like a draft system of sorts to ensure that all Clubs have more opportunities to become successful but in the meantime, Penrith will dominate.

If they manage to win this year and say, next year as well, they will certainly keep an eye on those 11 straight wins we got and try every year to win the title. It will of course be hard but they are the ones that have that chance in our lifetime.

The Panthers are a machine and I for one have no problem with them winning again. Every year they lose one or two big guns but it makes no difference and they just keep steamrolling along. A team of the blokes they've let go would probably be top 3.

It's up to everyone else to catch them. Maybe we just need to fully copy their father/son model and move Kyle to 7...

We have messed up big time, but by playing numbers the Penrith juniors is easily the biggest. Now combined with one of the leading pathways and training structures, this is the Gould legacy.
Also the largest proportion of the Polynesian population is in western Sydney, a never ending production line.
They will be one of the top clubs for a long long time.

What are these ‘finals’ I keep hearing everyone refer to?

The season finishes at the last round.

Not sure why the top teams insist on playing these extra pre-pre-season games.

Surely they’d want to rest up too for next season?

Madness.
