The punters in the crowd would be having a great night. Three hours of clips on the screen, Ranga Spice singing a crap song, and Tallis in an afro wig. Inspiring stuff.

This intro is completely embarrassing not just for the TFS's biggest show of the year, but also the NRL. The myriad of sexual innuendos ain't funny, and the AFL's version leaves it to shame. Feel sorry for all the audience members who forked out money to see this.

Beau Ryan really needs to do away with all this ......TV crap. and do more "Beau Knows" segments. Such a disgrace that the whole intro was based around him.

Did you even see the VFL version last week? Had Sam Newman use dozens of dwarfs as a tribute to the St Kilda players who set one on fire. I think that's a far bit worse than a self-deprecating song on wanking.

I thought tonight's intro was hilarious. Was almost in tears during the squirrel grip song.

I went into this knowing it was going to be shit - but like a car accident i had to watch

Just like the back page the other day with that saggy boobed AFL cheerleader chick hosting it - you need to see it even though it is bad - just so we can have a whinge about it.

The footy show - get rid of slats - f**king cricket playing suck up - Molin to be sidelined please. If they made it a bit more unscripted but shorter it would be good - stick to just say the fat, the big marn and someone like Birmingham - a proper funny person with them - it would work.

Since Sterlo left it's been pretty bad, like hey hey it's Saturday really

Here we got... 2 titans, 2 saints, beau, the hosts and jt to stand in the background with a guitar. The only people who actually danced were the titans boys. Cooper and Hunt's effort should be the bare minimum of the standard.

I think this year was quite a good year for te show actually.
A good mix of humor and a bit more footy talk.

I agree slats shouldn't be there though.

I thought last night was quite a good show, there was some real funny moments and some moments that just made you think what are they doing??? But that's generally what happens in any comedy show, you don't sit there laughing for the whole 2hrs...

So I think the critics on here are being a bit harsh.

I'd give this year a pass mark for sure.

The show is about the hosts, a few marketable players and plays on the same inside jokes every week. The only relation it has to footy is the fact that most of the hosts/guests were/are footy players.

The interaction between Sam Newman and Shane Crawford was hilarious .I would like to see the NRL Footy Show try something like this next year. Question is: which people would you have in the Big...House, announcer etc? You ideally need to have at least two of the housemates with a bit of a personality clash.
