Eric did star prominently on Matty Johns' show back in 2010.

However, yeah, I agree with you that like Beau did after Johns' sacking from Ch9, looks like Eric is trying to get his 'foot in the door' regarding a future media career. If Eric is one of the best 'future media talents' of the current NRL players, the future ain't looking bright....
