That instagram/twitter segment is the biggest waste of time. Ego gratification to the max. I mean, who cares what Gordon tallis suitcase looks like whilst he's packing?
Whoever decided for Mollan to get a full time gig needs to be sacked. if ch9 we're after a permanent female pannellist, Yvonne Sampson was the much better option and look forward to her interview with Will Hopoate next week
When they announced the segment I liked the idea, it actually has potential. But if it's just fan (or ch 9 reality contestants) tweets like "OMG Footy show ad...wrecking ball...soo funny. LMAO #awesomeballs" then there is no point. I guess the players are just as diplomatic on twitter as they are in interviews so there may not be a lot, but I think we could have some good stuff there this year. There is nothing better than a twitter feud. I bet most of the stuff will just be brown nosing though.
Agreed, Molan adds little to the show, she often is wrong with her facts and doesn't have the personality for what the show is going for. She seems like she wants to be taken seriously, but is on a show where that won't happen.
The next victim will probably be Maloney with his barbecuing
You'd think SOMEONE involved with the show would tell them they've run that joke into the ground by now wouldn't you? They only brought it up every week they had Maloney on the show last year.
Yeah, that was disgraceful. I embrace the idea of having fans involved in the show but that idea is only going to work in that segment if the producer has a strong word with Hadley not to do that again (like what happened in Andrew Voss first appearance as permanent pannellist in 2009 with Russell Crowe) or Hadley is canned from that segment. That Dragons fan should've given it to Hadley.
Let me guess what will happen. The fan will express the popular opinion every week and Hadley will shout and scream they're wrong because he has no idea how out of touch he is. Eventually (by round 7 I'm guessing), they'll tell the fan what they should and shouldn't say, to agree with Hadley. If anyone on here gets the fan seat they should share the inside scoop here, it would be interesting to hear.
