This show is 5% football, 95% Erin Molan. Ezza's head looks a bit like a kicked football, but it's still rubbish.
they were doing cancer awarenessNo disrespect to Erin's sister who had cancer, but I don't see what Erin's sister has to do with rugby league, let alone The Footy Show. Everyone on the panel might as well use the show as a platform to devout a whole segment to their individual family members in that case.
My major problem with The Footy Show over the last few years (as well as the obviousl lack of anything football related) is that the hosts are treated as the stars of the show, with the NRL players basically there to fill seats. Billy Slater is on the panel tonight and is a bigger name than anyone else there, but has barely been given a chance to speak. Everything is focused on the regular panel members - in the world of The Footy Show, Erin Molan is more recognisable than Billy Slater.
Oh, and you can see Beau Ryan sitting there thinking, "If I didn't have a c**k, I'd be hosting this thing."
Cannot disagree with anything you said there, especially the part in bold. Amazing how often they invite players or ex-players onto the panel, only for them to be sitting there twitching their thumbs for most of the show doing nothing. You'd think they didn't exist if you just randomly turned on the show about an hour or so in.
I've said this before and I'll say it again: Beau Ryan has had his funny moments in the past, but overall has nothing on his predecessor Matt Johns. He lacks the variation and spontaneity that Johns had. To his credit, I did enjoy most of his "Beau Knows" segments during his early TFS years (2009-11), but it was short-lived and really hit a sharp decline when he started doing all that 'DOGGIIIIIIIIES' and SBW/Burgii/Kevin Rudd/Benji TV crap that was flogged like a dead horse, even on the promos. And to cap it off, collaborating with Justice Crew:lol:....A boyband dance ensemble that metamorphosed into a singing group to make a quid when the dancing wasn't going to cut it.
Exactly what I was thinking.

I agree with your comments. When I saw the promo for the show and Erins interview her sister. My first thought is that this does not belong on the Footy Show.

I'm sure that other TV personalities have family members who have health problems. Why is this getting media attention.
It definitely should not have got attention on the "Footy Show".
Beau's comedy routines used to be good in his early days. But it has lacked big time lately. Although not used this year (from what ive seen), his SBW TV, Kevin TV, Benji TV etc was terrible. It was funny the first time, but not for the next 50 episodes of the same jokes!
But when Beau talks seriously, he is quite good. I just wish he talks more seriously each week rather than try out his comedy routines.
As for Erin. Geez, she hasn't improved at all as a co-host. She still seems to be awkward in that role. She is not suited in this role. On the Sunday Footy Show, she is slightly better. And I find her annoying in the "look-a-likes" segments. She constantly bags out Fatty saying that the photos so look like him (and other panellists too), but then gets the shits when there is a photo of her going around, saying they don't look like her at all. She got upset a week or two ago when it was mentioned that she looked like the "girls" from the movie White Chicks.
