Two comedy characters gone. Truth is a bit of a shocker, I always get a kick out of him making people break. Highlight of his career was when he made a bet with Heyman that he could make Lesnar break and succeeded. Thought he was a job for life guy as he is beloved backstage.

Carlito is less of a shock as he’s a bit part player in JD, although his comedy stuff is also very funny.

that said the two guys have a combined age of 100, not exactly spring chickens. WWE in general has a bloated roster and could probably cut down another 15-20 with relative ease.

From what I've read Valhalla is also as good as gone.

Signs are The Miz may also be on his way out, as apparentely he's removed any mention of WWE from his Twitter/X account, although it's still present in his IG so who knows.

You have to wonder who is making these decisions, previously guys like Truth, Carlito, Miz, and other recent releasees like Ziggler and Shelton would be slowly phased out and put into producer roles backstage. Yet they seem to be getting let go instead. Seems like they’re only keeping the older guys around if they’re the household names like Punk or Rey.

You have to wonder who is making these decisions, previously guys like Truth, Carlito, Miz, and other recent releasees like Ziggler and Shelton would be slowly phased out and put into producer roles backstage. Completely different dynamic now under Endevour, everything is about $$$. If they don't see them making money, they're gone.

Truth was a surprise, but as was mentioned before he's no spring chicken. As for Miz, I reckon if he's moving on that's a call he would have made rather than WWE. He's never kept it secret that he wants to be a celebrity entertainer in the vein of a Ryan Seacrest. As for the rest, not to be cold but they weren't up to much at the time and I wouldn't have seen that changing in the future.

TKO monetize everything from the canvas to tables. Cuts are to save money. Fan reaction made them backtrack. Hhh looked like an ass again with Nick Khan having to step in and clean up the mess. Becoming a recurring thing.
