I don't buy this Freddie. The more points of difference a team has the better. When oppositions know there's nothing different coming it's easy for them to target the same old plays from the halves.We have two kicking halves at the moment so the dummy half kicks aren't as necessary.
We had 2 kicking halves in 2016.

Also on last tackle we would go wide to Luke Lewis and he would put a nice kick in as well

Which means the defence has to work harder which will cause someone in defence line to overthink.
At the moment we have just our halves the defence know who is going to kick, a lot easier to defend against
We also had when Gallen went to dummy half it was either blind side play or goes for the try.And to be fair. Mostly we go to Nicho. Who for mine stands a bit too flat which contributes to him getting rushed and the popgun kicks we see all too often.
