Next summer City will be linked to him as part of a swap deal for Tevez.

Which implies that:
A) Obst is a scrub
B) He is a superstar in the super league.

A) may be right, don't know the guy,
B) has Fail written all over it.

Maybe you cannot comprehend your own posts?

Cleverly is going to be the Scholes long term replacement. The guy is quality.

Sneijder is not a true CM, especially in the premier league sense. He would of been played on the left coming in (but we bought Young) or behind a front man (Rooney is already there and better), so it would of been a waste. Modric would of made more sense but he was unavailable.

But yeah, having to play Scholes does show we have a lack of depth there.
Losing Cleverly, Jones and Anderson to injury early didn't help, and losing Fletcher for the season weakened it further. If all 4 of those are back next year then there is no problem.

Hopefully this can be sorted in the summer though. Time for a decision on Andersons future.



We needed a goalie to though. De Gea will be alright.

I think he is a different kind of player though. He doesn't have the range of passing that Scholes has.
