I need to book some acomadation, anyone know if theres anything close by?

Well...it can't be that hard given there are trains to Olympic Station every day of the festival and shuttle buses to the festival from there...

You can take a tent and camp the night at the venue.

Well...you can camp on site as previously said. Getting anywhere near the venue will be hard given the Easter Show will be on at the same time. I think you'd be best finding somewhere in the city and catching bus/train/ferry to the site.
