Did you hear the story about Mark Waugh,he was playing grade cricket and had just reached his century so he then got out on purpose so he could go to the TAB and back Super Impose in the Cox Plate and he won

Yep..

He did it a few times apparently..

Super's was the best Cox Plate field i've seen..

Wazn would've won it by a furlong..

Didn't even know he was racing until now. Damn. I listened to a replay of the race and he was last for the first 1800m till the turn with 300m to go.

I know I'm shit out of luck getting a straight answer to this, but why the running joke about Wazn? I assume the premise is that Wazn sux, but I looked it up and it appears to be a pretty handy horse who places in about 50% of its starts and has won over $300,000.

There was a period there where Wazn started fav every week and always ran on when the race was all over only to suck punters in again the next week

Wazn likes to run on when the race is over
