The Great Top Four Curse continues!

Generally over the last few year there has been a trend where at least half the top 4 sides will plummet out of contention the following year, to be replaced by the surprise packet of the season. Is it going to continue?

Picking randomly - Ill start with 2004.
Teams in Red drop out of finals (in bold to bottom 4) next season
Teams with an * have risen from last years non finallists (in bold bottom 4)

Bottom 4 - I have high hopes for Parra next year - it's my one comforting thought as I prepare to cuddle up to a spoon in the off season!

Finish 4th, out in straight losses. A typical experience for a Matt Elliott coached side in the finals.

i think you'll find a few teams which ahve finsiehd right downt he bottom (even the spoon) have made the finals next year. thats why i predicted the cows to make teh finals this year, not ebcause i thought they were due but more that it seems to be a trend which has occured. did the chooks make the gf last eyar after the spoon the year before?
