Where did ya find the Frenzal cover of The Dead Heart?

Its on Power and the Passion: A Tribute to Midnight Oil. Other artists covering Oils tracks include Something For Kate, Shihad, Grinspoon and Area 7.

Across the Univers - John Butler Trio (The Beatles)

MAD!! I've gotta have that CD..

The JBT cover is great, I first heard it on Marking Time and jumped at the What You Want single when I heard it was on it.

Rock and Roll Music. The Beatles version still remains the best today despite hundreds of cover versions. Chuck Berry did the original I think.

Although I'm sure I will suffer admonishment from the reggae purists like Captain Dread, another cover I love is

Fugees - No Woman, No Cry (Bob Marley)

Nowhere nears as good as Bob's but a good interpratation nonetheless.

Metallica - So What? (Anti-Nowhere League) plus many more

Him - Wicked Game (Chris Isaak)

Fugees - No Woman, No Cry (Bob Marley)

I haven't actually heard it... but I quite like Wyclef Jean's own reggae efforts on The Carnival. It's something I've wanted to check out for some time though.

Thats a cover?
yep Nick Cave wrote it and it was either him and the bad seeds or the birthday party. I think it was more likely a Birthday party song. Nick was the singer.

Reel Big Fish - Take On Me...goes like a zyertec.
Great version (way better than all the boring boy band versions!). I also like their version of "Come on Eileen" but it isn't as good as the original.

Speaking of the Fugees, I'm surprised nobody has selected "Killing Me Softly".

Definitely Birthday Party (Door, Door?), although I think i read somewhere Roland S Howard had it up his sleeve from the time he was with his previous band.
Crime and The City Solution?

Anyway, one oif the greatest pop songs ever written.
