They have to get rid of that third tackler in around the legs.
If two tacklers are holding up around the top the third guy in around the legs should be a penalty for a flop or whatever.
It isn't anything more than a wrestling tactic and at worst it is a deliberate injury waiting to happen and it always looks like what should be called a coward tackle. You can usually see the third tackler stalking around the tackle to get into position looking at the victims legs where he is going in for the bite.
Just get rid of it.
The game should not have to be going around cleaning up a Craig Bellamy mess every couple of months.

A lot of the shit that happens in tackles could be resolved by the refs actually applying the rules as they were intended, which would usually mean a quicker ‘held’ call. A quicker held call, and tacklers to release immediately (similarly when tackle complete on the ground) or it’s a penalty. To mitigate against the ptb becoming too fast, the attacking player must regain both his feet, then place the ball on the ground and play it back with his foot - again, apply the actual rules. These changes would bring the game back to its natural speed and look, and get rid of all the wrestle bullshit.
