I have to mention how eternally grateful to the BBQ any sane minded Sharks fan is. Forever will the man love be strong.

In saying that I say well done to the club in letting Jimmy go, and in general the way cap management is undertaken at our BWB.

In not giving in to the BBQ's wish for an upgrade 2/3 though a contract the club has drawn a line on the sand for future player relationships. I will miss 2016 BBQ deeply, but asking for the upgrade part of the way through the contract is rough. The club saying no, spells it out for others, well played.

I remember a interview with Flanno on 360 early in the year where he was talking about the cash allocated for the spine and that they don't deviate from that postion. In the same interview he mentioned that the club doesn't back end any contract and I believe that it is this that puts us in a postion to constantly being involved in talks with players to come here, we don't t have any Bulldogs or Tigers gross cap balls up to deal with, well played.

Lastly with budgeting for a 8.4 million cap when it's 9.4 next year I say welcome to Mitchell, Moylan to Fb, Holmes to wing and Duges to centre.
Bring on 2018.

For me Pearce has a stronger running game than Chad, Chad should have a better kicking game as IMO Pearces is a bit off at times.

Moylan at the back provides the ball playing fullback we miss since Barba.

Duges is a metre eating centre whilst Val is a origin winger, not yet a top grade fullback.

For mine the addition of Pearce at 6 strengthens the whole team.

The interesting thing will be what positions Duges and Mozzarella were offered to sign.

We need to change the attack to win the comp, and this would be a potent set up.

So the plan is, two halfbacks, three fullbacks and no genuine 5/8.

Works for Australia I guess.
