As always, The Killers put on a great show last night.

Seriously, live they are one of the best value for money bands you can see. No crap, it's just all about entertaining and putting on a fun show.

For the final song of the night, the support bands and surprise guests The Vines joined them on stage for a massive jam and cover of The Beatles Helter Skelter, with Craig Nicolls sharing vocal duties.

Here's some pics I took

No, he doesnt look a thing like jesus

Yep, saw them on Saturday night at the same venue (sans Vines though) and have to agree. Searing, ball-tearing, bust-your-sh*t-wide-open entertainment. One of the can't-miss live acts going around.

When they came in January this year (or maybe last year) I was going to go with some freinds, but I thought it was the day before I got home from holidays. I then found out that I could of gone. Still burns me up that I missed it.

The two most overrated douche-bags around on the same stage simultaneously.

Where were the snipers?

They're a different band from what they were at the BDO. Full of confidence and provided one of the best concert experiences I have ever witnessed. Every song felt enhanced and everyone in the crowd was into it...great night.

Howling Bells were off their game at Brisbane...extremely dull.

fisheel, sounds like a great show! Helter Skelter! Wow I think that's the first time The Killers have ever performed that...extremely jealous. Did they play any of their songs off of their new album, Sawdust?

F*cking hell.

Killers doing Helter Skelter would have Lennon crying.

I can accept U2, but The "Wont remember us in five years time" Killers?

They played one new track during the first encore of the Saturday night show. Had kind of an electro feel to it. Tight.

Hey Ron, I've got a great picture of their guitarirt, I'm sure you'd be a fan, he is full on c**k rock.....boofy hair, tight jeans. Pic I took has him in rock god pose, with I guy up front in the crowd doing the old 'devil horn' salute

I havent bought Sawdust yet - but you know its not really a 'new' album, rather a compilation of non album stuff? I've got half of it already. Change your mind and under the gun are great tracks. I saw them on Abbey Road sessions on Max, so I will get it for that version of when we were young, because that sounded great when I watched it.

That being said, they did two songs I didnt know. One I think may have been tranquilise.

It was one of the best concert's I've ever been to, and I was two seats off the worst seats in the house.

People who are knocking them don't know what entertainment is.

Firstly Ron, I think you would find they were fairy lights, not christmas lights. They were on the singers keyboard stand, and all the amps. Ben Lee once did something similar with flowers on his mic stand.

No, it was shiny, glossy paper adding the atmosphere and party vibe of the show. Some fell from the top of the stage. A hell of a lot of paper burst from the stage when the show started:

I hope that satisfies your queries.
