Imagine the frustration for Clint Newton if it came time for him to return from a 12-match suspension and he had to delay it through injury. It could happen, after the Newcastle prop broke down with a hamstring problem at training yesterday.

Newton, who was outed for striking St George Illawarra prop Ashton Sims last August, is due back from suspension in round nine.

"We don't know if it's going to delay Clint's return at this stage," Knights media manager Steve Crowe said yesterday. "We're going to have to wait until tomorrow to see how he pulls up."



- Geez you guys can't catch a break with those injuries.
