I got excited for a minute lol

“Where do we go in the future,” Abdo told reporters after the ARLC AGM. “It’s really simple – West, East and in the Centre.”

I might even go if Hull KR get there. Hull KR v Perth in Vegas, now that'd be fun :)

How would one know that this Las Vegas venture is getting under opposing sports supporters skins?

When FitzPirate writes a whole negative article about it.
It'd in today's SMH.
Oh the pain that man must be going through.
In fact he very well could be one of the many posters in this thread going by what he said.

I guess he’s upset that the Yanks call it Rugby? :) :) :)

Hull kr can't even capture the imagination of all of Hull... Hull... I don't think they're on the menu to play against an imaginary Perth team.
It could be the " who gives a f**k cup" ?

Travis Kelce is in Sydney.

The NRL should be throwing everything at getting fifteen minutes of his time to try and get him and his brother to the Vegas games.

Better promotion than washed up celebrities who can no longer generate box office returns without a spandex outfit.

Fitzy should have been spruiking the kick off to the Super Rugby comp, no one other than the players are aware it's starting this weekend.

Fitzy knows the only way he keeps his job is if people read his articles and that writing about Super Rugby does not generate attention.

Writing about the NRL is easy traffic for him. Those who hate the sport will read it and share it, and those who hate Fitzy will read it and talk about it.

Few digs as expected but lots of positive stuff about how union has become boring unlike league

more people talking about nrl in Vegas than six nations

the thing about Vegas if could generate a lot of publicity for league from union followers around the world

the op is a fomer union player for Scotland

The Rabbitohs have invited the local San Diego rugby league team, the Barracudas, to their training session on Friday.

The Barracudas have an amateur men’s and women’s team and are founding members of the Pacific Coast Rugby League competition that launched last year.

The 2023 competition included eight teams, with the competition set to expand in 2024 with the introduction of the West LA Jackrabbits and the Sacramento Immortals.

The Rabbitohs have invited the Barracudas to watch them train on Friday and will gift the club their training gear and equipment once they finish their pre-Vegas camp next week.

San Diego also plays home to a professional rugby union team, the San Diego Legion. It’s the home of former Wallabies star Matt Giteau and ex-All Blacks sensation Ma’a Nonu, who will both play in this year’s Major League Rugby competition.

Members of the Legion coaching staff have also requested to come and watch South Sydney’s training session on Friday. It remains unclear if Giteau or Nonu will also come along to the Bunnies’ training session at Triton Soccer Stadium at UC San Diego.

Idk what compelled me to click on the article cos it would only be rage bait, lucky i couldn't finish reading it.
I got to the part where he was saying nrl couldn't even get popular outside of nsw and qld and stopped reading from laughter remembering how he predicted the melbourne rebels would kill off the storm and now they are on deaths door instead.
