This sounds like the storm were never in consideration, which we all thought was a no brainer for them to go, but to send this notice out, makes me think they are just trying to save face, as they weren'tStorm have officially declined to participate for 2025:

Yeh, definitely a no-brainer. Would’ve been a decent boost for the game down there because Storm playing in Vegas might - just might, make the 6 o’clock news down in Melbourne.
Did they leave out French Polynesia for a reason? Strange given the French connection to our jersey. Do we need to contact the club on this oversight?
Suppose it depends on who they are playing against, Canberra won't be playing panthers, since they are both home teams, sticky might get a win
Should get Newcastle over there too, as they have the las vegas golden Knights in hockey
