I smell a fumbler. It says Australia’s biggest sport? I thought blatant lies were banned in advertising.

Sometimes it seems like you don't have even the slightest clue about business.Good to see him giving them such a sweet deal that cost the game hundreds of millions is paying off somehow lol

They gave them a big plug at half time- supporting our sport.. they had their jerseys on. Supporting each other.. the only way this works and it truly can because the seasons are at different times of year. I follow bits of NFL too. It's a relationship between sports that can work and support each other..doesn't clash like basketball as well.Does anyone think the players should have slipped on a jersey or some branding before the TV spot?
Maybe it was a last minute thing and they didn't have time to prepare.

Doesn’t matter they were both attend outs. There was 100,000 in the catering tents.
It's been reported 20K tickets have been sold what was afl-china? Or NZ Wellington week crowds?

Checked the TV ratings lately? It says Australia’s biggest sport? I thought blatant lies were banned in advertising.
The only criticism I have is that you are trying to promote the physicality of the game by using the human pillow?
Meh not really. The English Superleague commentators often call it rugby too and no-one corrects them. We've got just as much right to use the word as union does
Thats not really the issue though mate.Meh not really. The English Superleague commentators often call it rugby too and no-one corrects them. We've got just as much right to use the word as union does
Yep not surprising with the state of most stadiums being worse then a 3rd world country. I'd rather watch on TV too instead of giving money to a club who doesn't care about its supporters.Checked the TV ratings lately?
Perhaps we should've taken the chance to completely divorce ourselves from our rugby union roots when the Vichy government banned the French rugby league from using the word "rugby"... let the game be called "Jeu à Treize" globally. That or "topball" of course. Too late nowThats not really the issue though mate.
Its that anyone seeking out the game will likely confuse it with Union.
The NFL commentators even refereed to the ball as a "Rugby".
