The ufc want to use the nrl fanbase to expand in Australia and nz so it’s win win

if uncle Dana gets involved the event will sell out

if the nrl ever wants to start a comp in America they could do no worse than give Dana ten percent free equity to build the business or ownership of a key team
Try outs in California!!!

If young enough lower grades maybe not first grade no chance
Lol I love the way these nfl players celebrate after doing a tackle lol, however there's no celebrating after doing a tackle in Rugby League besides getting smashed for 80

Theres probably some receivers, running backs, secondary players that could make it in RL if they converted at 16 or 17. Older that that and its hard to see how theyd learn the skills, game nous, defence and fitness to convert in time to make it as a pro.
AF and RL are very different at senior levels let alone at a professional level.

An nfl player did a backwards pass to his winger (running back ?) for a touchdown and they all went nuts lmao

Either good at attacking or defending not either

would struggle with both

If america got behind nrl we would never win

they are generic freaks

360 million pop and we only have half of Australia plus bits of. Nz and png
My uncle who lives in California said to me several times that American football is so boring, that Rugby League shits all over it

yeh thats the challenge. AF is a very specialised game and kids grow up playing it in one position that has very specific skills and traits. RL players are much more rounded being able to pass, tackle, run and all for 80mins.

You could probably pick up some talented athletic kids at 16 from high school football and spend 5-10 years teaching them to play RL, but then youd question why would you when theres better prospects with less development need in Europe and NZ/PI.

There's a good reason id suggest why the 90% of college players who dont make it to NFL have NEVER become RL players instead.

I reckon RL 9's would actually have more of a chance in USA of taking off. Its less physically demanding and probably suits the faster AF player positions better.
