Bumper sticker for the benefit of American tourists seen in Austria :American's don't know the difference between Australia and Austria let alone rugby league and rugby union.
Who is typing in ‘Rugby America’ after the event when we have garnered their attention? And what are they trying to find? This is presumably post Vegas when we've garnered someone's attention. Type in Rugby america and see what comes up.
Well Im guessing they watched a game the perceive as being called 'rugby' and having enjoyed the vegas games decide to search for more info or viewing or even playing opportunities.Who is typing in ‘Rugby America’ after the event when we have garnered their attention? Well if they watch one or both of the games (which, by the way is a huge success) and come away from that thinking that they should search for more information about it (again, a measure of success) but type in ‘rugby America’ (rather than any of NRL, Vegas, Warriors, Sharks, Panthers, Raider or a multitude of other words that are more likely having just watched two hours of coverage of our sport headlined by Australian commentators and would lead them to sites about the event actually going on) then that would be a bad outcome.Well Im guessing they watched a game the perceive as being called 'rugby' and having enjoyed the vegas games decide to search for more info or viewing or even playing opportunities.
Those that are interested to know, know. Those that aren't interested aren't our target market anywayRugby League is bigger in Australia than any other country in the world, and yet half of the nation has no idea of the nuance between the two codes.
No, it is part of our heritage and we have every right to use it.thats even more confusing considering you have rugby 7's owned by Rugby union. A number of times in countries union has tried to stop out league by claiming they are 'Rugby' so should control everything. We need to drop Rugby not League lol
Your country could do with a bit of Trump action right now to save it from completely disappearing down the toilet. Make England Great Again!I think you give people too much credit! Especially in a country that votes in leaders like they do.
What a quitter. Union is barely recognised on the world sporting landscape. You might have a point if it had reached the level of Basketballthey've already claimed it. For the last 20 years we allowed them to drop union and just use Rugby. The world now perceives 'Rugby' as Rugby union. the battle is lost, accept defeat and regroup.
And by the way we did the same thing in WW2, remember Dunkirk? Know when you're beaten, retreat, regroup and come back stronger.
The Golden Peanut / Bestest rugby league fan eva! Double is yours for the taking wbtiktok.

I love people who want to put up barriers to entry into our game.
So you agree that the names should be recognisable, memorable and searchable (so, the need to be unique)
Just not the brand of the sport itself…..?
and you think it is better that people should go searching based on club names?
lol that’s highly unlikely. The CFL is not a known brand in Australia.Any Australian sports fan knows that the NFL and CFL are similar but different sports. I know Americans generally aren't that bright but they'll easily be educated
I know it and you do.......all NFL fans dolol that’s highly unlikely. The CFL is not a known brand in Australia.
Well you and I aren’t ’Any Australian sports fan’. I think you’ve made a broad statement that simply doesn’t apply.I know it and you do.......all NFL fans do
