As the novelty wears off they'll have to find ways of boosting the interest. This year is adding Sl clubs to boost the crowd. Not sure what they'll do next year?
Maybe 2 NRL games and 2 SL games? I don't think the womens test is adding any ticket sales.

Id like to see the world club challenge take place as part of it next year.

If they want to get some locals to the game they could have USA v Canada as the curtain raiser.

Any early predictions what the tv audience will be for raiders v warriors in the USA ?

Last year the peak was 81k on Fox Sports. This year Can v Nz will be shown on Fox FTA which should lead to a higher audience.

If Major League Rugby rates between 30k to 150k and MLS gets about 450k…. Realistically we could peak around 200k ????

The other thing is that NRL games (played in Oz/NZ) on the weekend are on a great time for the UK viewer; watch them all morning and then have the afternoon to do something else (potentially watch football at the start and end of the NRL season).

This is a very good point.

I’ve got a young family, so my spare time is very much taken up with all the stuff I have to do with them - yet I watch every game, every weekend. I’m lucky I can generally pick and choose my work hours, so can almost always watch Thurs and Fri games live, and then the Sat/Sun games I can usually watch and still have the rest of the day to do family stuff.
