Just so you know:
Trump got 49.8% of the vote or 77 million votes, Harris got 75 million, despite claims (surprise, surprise) counting votes to Independents Trump didn`t win the popular vote.
Trump winning actually got less votes than Bush 2004, Obama 2008 & 2012 and Biden in 2020 when they all won.
Despite Trump`s claim of a landslide, it wasn`t, yes he did win all the battleground states, but very narrowly. In the three states that decided the election, had 177 000 votes (out of 160 million odd votes nationwide) in those three states gone Harris`s way, Trump by now would be a footnote in history.
Please keep this in mind, Trump hasn`t the "massive mandate" he is claiming (of course) he is skating on thin ice, there are already some signs of pushback from within his own party despite their often shamefully pathetic servile manner towards him. Interesting days nonetheless.

You can spin it however you want mate but trump won a clean sweep of the White House, popular vote, battleground states, the house and senate.

The " fake media " is even more fake and filtered in Australia. Trump is more popular than people realise because of this fake narrative and people simply privately enjoy watching someone just doing what's best for their country. You'll find the majority of working class ( rugby league people) either like Trump or are not bothered by those politics.
In any case, I absolutely guarantee that a Trump attendance would sell out twice over.
He's literally the most famous and influential person of modern history. The term " star power " doesn't even begin to cover it.

What I love about this is the mentality and ambition of V’Landys. I don’t think Trump attends, but when asked the question V’Landys response was why not. and he has got a heap of press about it; again we are talking about Vegas.

I just love we have a leader whose first instinct is to say ‘yes we can’ and then backs himself to deliver. He definitely makes mistakes (I think he made some around the Dolphins introduction being done too quick) but he makes mistakes because he is pushing the game forward; restarting after COVID, Vegas and expansion have (largely) been huge successes and really taken the game forward.

Not a bad idea but how feasible would it be to fly school kids and their parents to vegas at such short notice?

if you are going down the route of giving away for free the remaining couple of thousand tickets a couple of days before or on the day of the event kicking off then it would probably be best to just literally handing them out to holiday makers in hotels and casinos .

They announced over 40k last year when official figure was 31k. If they generally get 40k will be announced as over 50k anyway.

With regards to Trump, I am in a neutral position. He has just commenced his second term and unlikely he would be in Vegas, just five or six weeks in from inauguration Maybe PVL or anyone connected to the game could go on Joe Rogan instead.

If Trump does well in his second term with certain issues and improves his popularity, not just in America, but around the world in the next 1-2 years, then why not?

On the flip side, if Trump fails to move the needle, and his popularity dives, then the NRL should steer clear of him.
