Even for Australian TV it’s worse than last year with the first game being a thumping in the women’s game.

if they want to maximise viewers in AU and also make a better spectacle:

Game 1 - SL game (not on Aussie fta tv)
Game 2 - Storm Vs Cowboys (Aussie fta tv and Fox US game)
Game 3 - Dragons vs Bulldogs

that’s it. Will gain maximum reach in Australia, and it’s not an overload of football to watch for people at the ground

.

The Raiders v Warriors game was a strange choice to showcase the game on American fta TV. It was always going to be a grinding type game. They need to pick free flowing, attacking teams to showcase the game.

NRL let’s learn some lessons:
1. Don’t break up the two nrl games with lesser games, totally takes the wind out of the day
2. Don’t schedule women’s England team on again
3. 4 games in a day is too much, the stadium will never look full
4. Pick the teams to attend on form

The tv impact across England Australia will be huge

This game has taken the momentum out but the cause England are awful

If it was Roos v England men the result would be the same at this time of year

Extra 10k English fans means it sells out next year

Yes if they are desperate to stay with the 4 games in a day format, get a couple NRLW teams instead.

Put these games along with SL as openers. Don’t break up the nrl games.

The positives out of this year have been the build up both in Vegas and the media coverage here, and it does look like they sold over 50k tickets which is great. But the scheduling is terrible.

My guess is 53 to 55k

Which is up around 17k than last year

And a huge boost to the game in England which doesn’t hurt

Also it's good to see the sycophants finally understanding what the supposed negative people have been saying for months. There's too many games, and a shit game is going to hurt the crowd and tv viewership for the last game.
