For those wondering about if SL clubs get paid to be there : from hull kr page.

Match tickets for the Robins against the Rhinos in Las Vegas are expected to go on sale Tuesday 3rd June at 5pm.
UK clubs take significant financial risk by committing to the event and the key way that revenue is returned is by tickets purchased through the specific UK fan link.
So, whether you support Hull KR, Leeds Rhinos or any other team in the UK, you are urged to back the sport you love and book via the correct link.
Tickets purchased via any other link will not go back to Hull KR / Leeds Rhinos and may compromise the financial viability of the event for Super League clubs in future years.
Hull KR supporters will be encouraged to purchase tickets in the South end of the Allegiant Stadium, with blocks 125, 126, 226 & 227 designated specifically as Hull KR supporter bays.
Leeds Rhinos supporters are encouraged to purchase tickets in the North end of the Allegiant Stadium, with blocks 102, 103, 202 & 203 designated specifically as Leeds Rhinos supporter bays.
If those bays sell out, don’t panic, fans from both clubs will be purchasing across multiple other blocks at both ends of the stadium so you will be with your fellow supporters.

Rovers are straight in the front foot and have already got a bar sorted that will be the home for the fans:

OFFICIAL FAN BAR

The Robins are pleased to announce a partnership with Rockhouse Las Vegas to offer supporters the ultimate place to hang out all week in the build-up and after the big Battle of Yorkshire, Hull KR vs Leeds Rhinos, on Saturday 28th February 2026.
Situated on South Las Vegas Boulevard, the bar will be open all week until and will be decked out in red and white offering fans an ideal meeting point.
Throughout the week there will be player, ambassador and special guest visits, live music and DJ’s, giveaways, party games & more! Further details will be confirmed ahead of the big week.
Supporters can initially grab wristbands via booking Catalans Sports Tours packages, or the flight only option via Destination Sport.
Depending on availability, individual wristbands may be available for sale at a later date
Wristbands will include priority access to enter the venue at the times it reaches capacity, at least 20% off your food and drink bill at Rockhouse and other venues to be confirmed.
The club are working with other venues and tourist attractions across Las Vegas to help supporters unlock other deals across the city with the wristband.
We expect the official fan bar to reach capacity at peak times like the official pre-party on Friday evening, and post-game on Saturday night. Therefore, if supporters wish to be at the key events, they are advised to secure a wristband.

Next year may have to go back to Wigan again if no other clubs want to host it

Guess the nrl doesn’t cover the cost of a home game or offers nothing

What’s in it for the nrl if English clubs keep the gate revenue ?

They should seat all the English fans next to each other to create atmosphere.

You could trust they would behave when they are in Vegas

They won't do that. They'll make the Yanks think all rugby league supporters have bad teeth :p

So storm dolphins titans for next year

Tigers aren’t keen to go and it would be too hard for Perth to play their first ever game In Vegas

Same would apply to png the following yr

Roosters were very keen to go again if Shane Richardson maintains his position

Better atmosphere, fills the stadium more and promotes RL as a global game.

Nope no payment, SL clubs get to keep the tickets sold through their specific links but get nothing else. HKR have said they expect to take a financial loss but they feel the brand exposure is worth it. There's a good interview with HKR COO here where he goes into some interesting details:

If they got 5k buying tickets at 100 each that’s around 500k which would go close to the revenue of a normal home game

But probably not the rhinos

Fair play for hull kr for thinking big and not how many other English clubs can be

There’ll be 2-3k tops. Rovers will miss out on 7-8k ticket sales plus corporate sales by giving up a home game. In the plus column will be however many tickets we can shift plus merch sales and up,ift in brand awareness (though that is hard to quantify monetary value of)

helps we have a rich board with deep pockets who are ok with covering any losses.

Super League rivals Leeds Rhinos and Hull KR are gambling on Las Vegas, a Rhinos director has revealed.

The two sides will meet at Allegiant Stadium on February 28 next year in the second Super League fixture to be played in the United States following Wigan Warriors’ win over Warrington Wolves three months ago.

Match tickets for the American adventure go on sale on Monday, June 2 and Rhinos commercial director Rob Oates has appealed for travelling fans to buy directly from one of the clubs to help ease the financial burden.
The Yorkshire derby will kick-off a triple-header also featuring two NRL games, with Canterbury Bulldogs taking on St George-Illawarra Dragons and North Queensland Cowboys playing Newcastle Knights.

Hull KR are giving up a Super League fixture at Sewell Group Craven Park and will be the ‘home’ side.

Rhinos were selected as their opponents through an application process, but – unlike the NRL clubs – the English teams won’t receive a fee for taking part.

“We want to do it,” Oates stressed. “In terms of is it good for Super League and for Leeds Rhinos and our brand, of course it is – but it would be fair to say it is a financial risk and very difficult commercially to make the numbers stack up.
“There is some benefit from match tickets bought through us and Hull KR. It makes no difference whether you buy from us or Hull KR, if you do that it does help the club.”

Las Vegas ticket sales update

This year’s Super League showdown in Vegas was rated a huge success in terms of raising the profile of the clubs and European competition and Oates reckons the second venture will be bigger and better.
He described the take up of the club’s official travel as “amazing” and revealed packages including flights have now sold out, though hotel-only deals remain available.

“There’s more than 6,000 people going already, between Rhinos and Hull KR,” Oates stated. “It’s about a 50-50 split. More than 11,000 people went from the UK last year and we are expecting to get above that.

“Hull KR have the same challenges we are facing, but the partnership with them that’s come with it off the field has been brilliant.

“They have been fantastic to deal with, great people and we can see why that club is heading in the right direction, with the people who are running it.”

Could it be the first Vegas to cross 50K ?

Think Hull KR and Leeds will bring more fans than last year. Bulldogs will bring a decent amount. Cowboys will travel, Knights could be an ok number too. Dragons are a bit on the unknown, strong finish to season might get a few more travel.

St Helens‘ CEO Mike Rush has spoken on the huge weight of expectation at the club, as well as why they’re not Las Vegas-bound for 2026 but could be in 2027.
Rush has confirmed that Saints had thrown their hat into the ring for those Vegas talks and will do so once again in 2027, teasing some possible opponents.

“We were part of the process,” he confirmed.

“There is a narrative, two Lancashire teams went last time, two Yorkshire teams are going this time. We’d very much like to play a Yorkshire team there in 2027.
“To take on somebody like Hull (FC) because Hull KR have been so let’s try and get Hull on the bandwagon and get it on between us.”

Speaking in further detail on the selection process, Rush praised all involved but claimed that Las Vegas is “not a money maker”, and that the club could use that money elsewhere in a possible hint at a major signing for 2026.

He explained: “It was very open and really transparent and dealt with professionally. We spoke with the NRL and we spoke internally. I’m not going to knock the Vegas thing but you also have to have a really stable financial footing if you do it.
“It isn’t a money maker. We have (got stable financial footing) but it’s a decision and at this time, do we want to invest in Vegas or go and chase a marquee player and put the money into that, which might help the coach on the field.”

St Helens brought in Tristan Sailor from the NRL for 2025 but with five overseas players off-contract in 2025, then perhaps a marquee could be recruited for 2026 with the money saved by not going to Las Vegas.

Hopefully, it can be cheaper for travelling English teams in each preceding year as the event grows (next year, hit 50,000)

2027 Hull FC v St Helens
2028 Wigan might need to return v Wakefield Trinity or Leigh (after hopefully a couple of good years, finals appearance or two)

Enjoyed Hull KR interview regarding event. Like how they are thinking big e.g WCC, Vegas

Unless something drastically changes, could also be the lowest attended. How many people want to risk being sent to a concentration camp in El Salvador?
Been a moral dilemma for us if to go and support a corrupt regime by visiting the county. We've landed on cancelling our planned 6 weeks in Orlando and spending a month in Mexico and a few days in Vegas. Even then it leaves a ugly taste in the mouth. Mind you they might not let us in coming from Mexico lol
