I think we're underestimating just how badly Warne gets into these English batsmen's heads...He owns them. He toys with them.

While it may look like the Poms collapsed, and they got out to easy shots, it was Warne's constant thinking and smart bowling that got them out. And once he took a few quick wickets, the rest panicked and Lee and co. could capitulate.

Then again, that's my view.

i agree with most of what you said... but the wickets Lee got, and should have gotten (Colly and harmy - lbw shouts) were of his own doing.

Flintoff- toyed with him as you mite say... the whole over.
Jones - Couple of reversing innies and then an outie which he knicked through the slips. And then another wider temtper which swung away late.
Colly- perfect set-up for waquar-like deliveries.
Harmy - same as Colly.

I agree. Lee's second innings was superb in my eyes. Quick, swinging and troubling batsmen. It's great to see him back to that sort of form, because if he keeps it up, we're looking good.

Gosh knows which one you are tipping them to win burty! Perth is a road and they have no bowlers bar Flintoff and Hoggard. Melbourne maybe..only if it doesn't rain. Sydney, unlikely- they don't really have a spinner.

After their dismal last day's worth of play in Adelaide, and the Australians' superb display, I'd find it hard to see how the Poms could recover and wina single match...

Perth = Draw
Melbourne = Pom's Win (knowing that if they square it at 2-2 they retain the ashes)
Sydney = Aus win (warne rules supreme yet again.)

England's batsman are not the problem- it is their bowlers. They are relying on 2 bowlers to get 20 wickets! Giles is s..t, Harmlesson is rubbish away from home, and Anderson, Plunkett and Mahmood are as bad as each other!

i disagree about Mahmood... and Plunkett is a good ODI bowler.

Hoggard and Flintoff are good, but they will hardly take 5 wickets apiece each innings.

Plus the Poms have another issue - if we win the toss at the next match and elect to bat...I'd be prepared to say it's pretty match game over for them then and there, really...

To be brutally honest, I hope they continue to ignore Pietersen and Monty. The worse they play, the happier I get.
