haha 35k is nothing much to worry about mate, i've been further than a million, with 4 more logins to fix it. but that was through poor management. ie me.
but we're good now, currently at about -150, but we've been buying a few players, making a few changes, so we woulda been out of it had we not done that.
but its ok to run a defecit budget!

anyways i wish i had started off like that, looking after my bank balance!! but i spose it adds another dimension to the game.

Mr Charisma is the only one yet to accept his friendly. It is against the new team, the Sri Lanka Chuckerspinmen (or a name somewhat similar to that).

when you go below -$1m, you have a certain number of logins to get back under, before they disable your account.

being 35k under is not that much to worry about, thats all i meant.

chileman!!! wholly hell!! thats awesome,

could you give any tips on how you have so much money??
is it youth pulls, training sales, what?

my max profit over a two week period is around 150k. thats if i get a near full house. i think.

thats without sales and stuff, so i spose its pretty good for the moment, i spose it helps if you're out of debt too, but i cant seem to shake the habit of wanting better players! and if i saved for ages i could by a really good player or two, but i cant seem to keep that idea running.

Its a process.

Over time you get better players, better players get better results, which means more fans which means better facilities which means more cash flow which means better players.....

You get the idea. You can do things to speed up the process (training program, full investment in youth, maximised value of seating capacity, clever transfer purchases etc) but most of the time its a case of much time and effort breeds results.

Like Mambo said above Poida ;-) plus the sale of a couple of old fellows that had scored a thousand goals for me but were getting long in the tooth....sold them off for more than what I thought I'd get

haha 7-0. shit.

my team was played as a 442 combo, i intended to play 352. i had a midfielder in central defender position, and for some reason he wsa playing as normal instead of extra inner midfield.

so that made it heathcotes poor (high) midfield against my wretched (something) one.

i played the same midfielders on sunday and resulted in a poor (very high) rating, and thats what i was hoping for today!!

well shit, i guess it is my fault, but that sux!

Without offence to Ernest, the top 10 sides can probably think themselves unlucky to not be one spot higher.

Arsenal vs Hills this week. Winner should go top.

awesome. i sold this player for $52,000. he wasn't very good but had this feely decent TSI of 1110. i think the guy who brought him was fooled by this. muwuhaahahaha.

now i've got 12,000 in the bank. i reckon i'm gonna save up for a new stadium

question: i read on that hattrick x site thingy it's a good idea to train your players on stamina in the off season...your thoughts?

haha Mambo!! cheap!!?

good luck to you selling that guy, i know if i saw a player worth around 300k, but selling for 625k, and i could see nothing special about him. that i wouldn't bother, obviously that is only my opinion, and i havent been in it as long as you, and i know you know what you're doing and all.

but seriously, is the point of a price tag like that, that you dont really want to sell him, but if someone is willing to pay that much, then its alright??

no disrespect at all!

Its an inflation thing. The transfer market has an ever increasing amount of money coming in (caused by new teams signing up) so the transfer market isn't a realistic economic environment. Usually you can price your players up and they still sell for plenty, as long as they have some sort of quality 'first' skill.

People have to pay up to get players that improve their squad. Believe it or not, I payed around $800,000 for Ilie when I bought him. So under that logic, he is going very cheap.

Hope that made some sense
