We played ok against wolves, Gibson looks a bit slow for the very top, Obertan looked lost up front and Jonny Evans looks worryingly out of form.

Other than that, everyone else looks good to go, Bebe looks like he can play, Henandez looks the real deal, and we got a very short look at the "wonderkid" coming through the ranks in Morrison.

Considering our youngsters who are most likeely to make it are out on loan the next lot behind them don't look bad either.

As for Spuds:
We can just mark 'the second coming' or Bale as he known as. Then spurs will be easy. If we rip through there defence Inter style we will have to play the full 90 mins, Bale really comes alive with one min to go in games that are lost.

Meh. He was sh*t when he was playing anyway. Send him no a bloody holiday to New Zealand or something. Berba and Hernandez have the form.

Well we got away with that one.

Not bad considering the injuries and most of our team spent half time on the toilet, playing against the team that beat city last week.

2 points of the top, unbeaten, all without our one man.

Good stuff.

Conspiracy theories now about Rooney, will he, won't he go in Jan or summer? Guess we will wait and see.

Solskjaer accepts Molde role

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has left his position at Manchester United to become manager of Norwegian side Molde.

Solskjaer, 37, left Molde for Old Trafford in 1996 and, following his retirement in 2007, worked for United coaching the club's strikers.

He was appointed United's reserve-team manager in 2008, bringing through the likes of Federico Macheda, Rafael and Fabio, and he won last season's Premier Reserve League as well as the Lancashire and Manchester Senior Cups in 2009.

"Ole has accepted the position at Molde and he goes with our best wishes," Sir Alex Ferguson said on Tuesday. "Ole has had a good period with our reserve team, which has given him a foundation to start somewhere else.

"He feels it is time he went back to Norway, which also helps his family situation. He has been a fantastic servant to us and I am sure he will do well.

"He has worked with some really good young players in our reserve team and has contributed to their development.

"Once he gets experience of managing a club in its own right, who knows where it will take him? Molde is a very progressive club in Norwegian football, so this is a good start for him."

Gary Neville has been touted as a possible successor as reserve-team manager, but Ferguson denied any decision had been made.

"I have no idea who takes over the reserves," he said. "We will just leave it at the moment."

Solskjaer replaces former Manchester City striker Uwe Rosler as Molde boss and will begin the role in January.

At a press conference on Tuesday, he said: "Molde FK has historically had a big focus on youth and the young players have shaped both Molde FK and Norwegian football. The focus will remain on youth.

"This is a dream job. I have discussed my future career with Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United and his advice was clear: You should choose to work at a club where you like the owners, directors and other people there. The choice was therefore easy, and my family wants the same thing."

Molde chairman Erik Berg said: "Ole Gunnar could afford to pick and choose from an array of exciting jobs, but he has chosen to become manager of Molde FK.

"Uwe Rosler and (assistant) Gunnar Halle have shown during the autumn that there is a lot right with this team. Uwe took the job during a critical time, and he deserves a big thank you. He brought out the energy in the team and the club, and he made Solskjaer's decision easier."

Solskjaer lies 16th on United's all-time leading scorers list with 126 goals in 366 games, and became an Old Trafford hero during his 11-year playing career at the club.

He wrote his name into United folklore as the ultimate 'super-sub' when he came off the bench to score the winning goal in the 1999 Champions League final triumph over Bayern Munich.

Just an update,

Rooney is back in the country, and is looking for a start against Wigan. After the Villa game, we need him.

Cleverly continues to do well at Wigan on loan, and Welbeck ripped Chelsea a new one and is beginning to look like the player the potential shows he could be.

Also interesting news is that the Glaziers are looking to pay of their PIK loans for aroud £225 million.

Apparently this money will NOT be coming from United as feared but (according to rumours) is either coming from a) They have sold an asset or two in the US and are using that money or b) They have sold part of United to someone else and using that money.

News is they have been a bit shaken by the amount of money Hicks and Gillet made at Liverpool (who sold for a lot less than they wanted) and are worried it will happen to them.

The quarter results are due out today, and they are paying on Monday so i'll update when i know more.

Foreskin face? You really just get your lines from terrible Spurs blogs don't you?

Anyway you have a melty faced manager. ;-)

He isn't going to retire because he is to old to do anything now so may as well keep working.

In other news..

Awful game against Wigan, we need a creative spark in that team.

Rooney came on in the second half. There was no mixed reaction, they guy was cheered by the crowd.

We need him to get back to his best failry sharpish.

Joint top of the league though, which considering we are past it is not bad going.

Now bring on Rangers...

Finally we produce a performance worthy of our undefeated status. 7-1 thumping of Blackburn, 5 goals to Berba. Very sweet. We've caught up to Che$ki on goal difference too, though they do have a match against Newcastle tonight, so depending on which Toon and which Chel$ki team turn up, we could be a few goals behind again.
