You ever been to those cities?

Milan and Madrid for example are freezing this time of year and Barca really is a dump. Rome and Florence are falling down and Venice basically has an open sewer running through it.

And yes, i have been to all those places. South of France is actually the nicest place. A move to Monaco or Nice is what you want to be looking for, if your afraid of the cold.

Manchester is a fine city, if your dreary and depressed there then that is your issue as a person.

As for TT, meh. They are the most accurate things you have ever said about football which says more for your total lack of knowledge than anything else. ;-)

Every city that you mentioned is better then Manchester. England as a whole sucks massive arse.

PS Yes, I have been to them all. (with the exception of the French cities you named)

He would have scored 4 goals had he played against Wenger's babies in the epic snooze fest this morning.

How come United can't attract world class players they keep telling us they're the biggest club in the world but the biggest stars don't want to go there I don't get it.

WTF... are you serious??

coming from Bayern Munich... the club that relies on scabbing crumbs off the big clubs.

when was the last time Bayern got a player who was actually in demand by other clubs.

say what you like about that hopeless bastard Hargrieves... but you sold him when you wanted to keep him.

im not saying theres anything wrong with cashing in on Real Madrid's bargain's like Robben... but dont come on here spouting on about not being able to attract world class players when your own team cant hold on to your players if we want them.

Barca is hardly a dump and the weather there is no where near as cold as England. Same as Rome, and Florence.

Vidic summed it up best: The main attraction of Manchester is considered the timetable at the railway station, where trains leave for other, less rainy cities.

awww, a bit cold for you.

Where would he go by train? If he wanted to get away from ice station Manchester he would be better getting on a plane.

Forgetting of course that Vidic neither lives or plays in Manchester according to you forum experts.

All Romes famous buildings are what? You guessed it, falling down! Name one that isn't.
Florence is very overated, the ponte vechio is a place where you can buy expensive fake jewelry. Venice does have an open sewer running through it. Madrid and Milan are freezing in winter. If you walk more than 10 yards from the Ramblas in Barca the povery can litterally hit you in the face. Yes the Goucho buildings look good, but then so does St Annes square in summer.

If your scared of a bit of rain then no don't come to Manchester, or Sydney where it rains even more...

None of them are or will be as good as Cristiano Ronaldo or as good as Beckham was at his peek

Are you referring to football ability or the stigma attached to those players, and the ensuing influence that stigma had on the team?

Lahm and Schweinsteiger are gods of Bayern and German football in general. I guarantee that they're more influential and have more respect within the Bayern dressing room than pissy Ronaldo or Beck$.

I'd take a fully fit and in form Robben, Ribery or Schweinsteiger over a 'peak' Beckham anyday.

Evra goads Arsenal: I was right

Manchester United defender Patrice Evra has poured fuel on the flames of his row with Arsenal by insisting he was proved right in his assessment of the Gunners.
Ahead of the top-of-the table clash between the sides, which United won 1-0, Evra goaded Arsenal by insisting their failure to win a trophy for five years represented a "crisis", and that the club was nothing more than a "training centre".The Gunners' laboured performance did nothing to silence Evra, allowing the French defender to insist that his assessment was correct.
"I think we confirmed what I'd said before the match," he told The Sun. "I think Arsenal played really well, you shouldn't neglect that, but we were better. I really say that without any arrogance.
"I heard people saying that what I said was below the belt, but that wasn't my intention. I just wanted to show how much I believe in my team, in their potential and strength. We know Arsenal and we know that if you don't let them breathe, which is what the coach said before the match, then it becomes hard for them, especially at Old Trafford."
Evra has also called Arsenal's temperament into question after they again failed to defeat one of their main title rivals. Arsene Wenger's men, who will go top of the table if they beat Stoke on Saturday, have lost their last three league matches against Manchester United.
"United always show up for the big games," he said. "Arsenal enjoyed a lot of possession but only had one chance. I think our victory was really deserved, it didn't boil down to small details. But people will have a go at me again for saying what I think."

That's the only important part of that article.

Evra is a twat. Everybody knows this.

The stigma? What are you going on about?

Gods of German football? Seriously? Gods? They are good players but come on.

I wouldn't take any of those players ovr a 'peak' Beckham. Beckham worked for the team more than anyone, had a dream of a right boot, never gave in, and was one hell of a footballer. Very underrated.
When Becks left Real they wanted him to stay, when Robben said he was leaving they paid for his taxi fare.

Becks has played for United, Real and Milan. Ribery has played for Marseille, Galatasary (i think, someone over there) and Munich.

Schweinsteiger is totally untested anywhere other than Germany. so i can't comment on how well he would do in a proper league. He may do well, he may not.

Obviously those players will get more respect in the Bayern dressing room, Ronaldo and Becks never played there.

You might not respect Ronaldo but can you imagine a Bundesliga defender trying to mark him? Good god its scary thinking of what he would do to them.

He is also playing in a better team than Arsenal. Everybody knows this, except Arsenal fans of course who think United just 'hack'. Oh no wait there, that didn't happen did it, must of been the pitch then... :)

You only need to listen to Roy Keane to know how respected Ronaldo is in the dressing room. Roy tells it as it is.
