Bitterness. Bitterness is Wio on the weekend.
Anyways, why Fergie has to play 4-5-1 against a garbage team like city i don't know. It left Park, Nani and Valencia in unfamilar positions and left Berbatov upfront on his own with no support.
The way to beat city is with wingers, Barry and De Jong are terrible footballers and if you make them move round the pitch they get swamped. Playing Berbs on his own let the defence play a high line giving them a chance to free up Toure to roam forward.
Oh well, now its out of his system, Chico and Rooney back and bring on number 19!!
So formation fail by Bacon Face.
And de Jong terrible. Nice one.
Why would we be bitter? Disappointed, yes, but not bitter when the Title is so tantalisingly close, and we've got a very good chance of making an even bigger final.
Not really. The commentators made them out to be a hell of a lot worse than they really were. Even Moyes said after the game that neither were penalties.Geez, we just can't score a nice, comfortable 3 points can we? Lucky to get out of that one unscathed. Everton parked the bus very successfully, and they were honestly unlucky not to get at least one of those penalty shouts. Still can't believe the Nani shot that hit Hernandez. After that I was convinced there was some sort of "no goals for you!" curse on us this week.
The tough run continues. We've had 2 games a week since the start of April. Mind you, I bet Arse and Chel$ki wish they could say the same thing.
Just watched the BBC drama called United.
It was good wasn't it.
Good old Jimmy Murphy.
Completely dominated Schalke on Tuesday. Could easily have (and probably should've) won 5 or 6-0 if it weren't for Neuer basically having the superman logo and cape in the first half. God I wish he was VDS successor, but unfortunately it looks like he doesn't want to leave Germany and so will join Bayern.
We set another record in this match, becoming the first team to not concede an away goal all the way through the competition.
Indeed, our away record in the CL over the last four or five years is incredible. Fairly certain it's (by quite some distance) the best away record that has been achieved since 1992 when the CL started in it's current system. I think we've only lost one away match in the last four seasons, and have only conceded 7 away goals in the last three seasons.
We don't get anywhere near enough credit for our record over the last five seasons.
