Anyways, why Fergie has to play 4-5-1 against a garbage team like city i don't know. It left Park, Nani and Valencia in unfamilar positions and left Berbatov upfront on his own with no support.

The way to beat city is with wingers, Barry and De Jong are terrible footballers and if you make them move round the pitch they get swamped. Playing Berbs on his own let the defence play a high line giving them a chance to free up Toure to roam forward.

Oh well, now its out of his system, Chico and Rooney back and bring on number 19!!

So formation fail by Bacon Face.

And de Jong terrible. Nice one.

Why would we be bitter? Disappointed, yes, but not bitter when the Title is so tantalisingly close, and we've got a very good chance of making an even bigger final.

Yup, formation fail. It happens.

De Jong is terrible, he makes Barry look mobile. If you want to be succesful your going to have to get rid.

A city fan going on about United being bitter. Rio will be real bitter. If it wasn't for the League titles, Champs league wins, captaining England then his football career would look bad.

Balotelli celebrating like it had anything to do with him. When Tevez is back he will be dropped again so he can start fights at training and dream of Milan.

Its amusing to hear city fans go on because they managed to win a football game. Not even a final or anything, just a football game. How very small time.

Enough of the joke Manchester team, back to real business.

Rooney will be back tonight, and it will be interesting to see who starts upfront with him. Do you stick with Berba or go Henandez. Or even Owen? Other than that, bring Giggs in for Scholes alongside Carrick, Nani and Valencia on the wing and a standard back 4.

Come on boys, number 19 is getting closer!!

He is a City fan. Years of bitterness give them a strange outlook on football. ;-)

Geez, we just can't score a nice, comfortable 3 points can we? Lucky to get out of that one unscathed. Everton parked the bus very successfully, and they were honestly unlucky not to get at least one of those penalty shouts. Still can't believe the Nani shot that hit Hernandez. After that I was convinced there was some sort of "no goals for you!" curse on us this week.

The tough run continues. We've had 2 games a week since the start of April. Mind you, I bet Arse and Chel$ki wish they could say the same thing.

Not really. The commentators made them out to be a hell of a lot worse than they really were. Even Moyes said after the game that neither were penalties.

A big four games coming up now. Schalke away, Arsenal away, Schalke home, Chelsea home.

Completely dominated Schalke on Tuesday. Could easily have (and probably should've) won 5 or 6-0 if it weren't for Neuer basically having the superman logo and cape in the first half. God I wish he was VDS successor, but unfortunately it looks like he doesn't want to leave Germany and so will join Bayern.

We set another record in this match, becoming the first team to not concede an away goal all the way through the competition.

Indeed, our away record in the CL over the last four or five years is incredible. Fairly certain it's (by quite some distance) the best away record that has been achieved since 1992 when the CL started in it's current system. I think we've only lost one away match in the last four seasons, and have only conceded 7 away goals in the last three seasons.

We don't get anywhere near enough credit for our record over the last five seasons.

It's a complete f**king mystery why we can't translate that into away frorm in the league. We would have had the title wrapped up already.

We've won as many away games in the CL this season (5 out of 6) as we have in the league (5 out of 17 I think). Hopefully we change that tomorrow night against Arsenal.

Your players are shite, pansy Northern scum etc etc.

Am not expecting anything out of the ordinary from Arsenal tonight. Attacking United would be preferred, but it's highly probably we'll see more of the same - dictating possession and pace, crossing from right and left to a man marked by three different players, and conceding goals either on the counter or as a result of a defensive mindf*ck.

United know how to beat Arsenal, the fact that Arsenal haven't beaten United it what seems like a century provides me with a somewhat melancholic optimism. I just hope that during my lecture tomorrow morning I'm not regretting watching another Sunday night/Monday morning game.

f**king disgraceful performance from a team allegedly playing for the league title. We thoroughly deserved to lose that. Seriously, if your players can't get up for such a big match, there is something f**king wrong. It's almost as if Sir Alex has decided he wants the European title, and will take the league as well if he can get it. We'd better f**king put up a better show against Chelsea.
