The match day raffle...

Seriously, I'm not interested in paying $5 for a chance to win a digital set top box.

I can't think of any other ground that ive been to where ive been so routinely assaulted by people wanting my money for nothing.

The match day raffle is more tired than the Pierce family, but it seems to have genuinely been the best idea that sharks marketing have been able to come up with.

Is anyone else tired of it? Does anyone else think that it reeks of Cronulla amateurism?

Why don't we chuck the Pierces on one of those things where you chuck the ball at the target and if you hit it, into the water they go. I'd pay $5 for a crack at that
Change the water to urine and poo-poo and I'll pay $100

I agree. It's tired and extremely annoying. It so obviously a ploy to try and get another $5 onto the ticket price of a percentage of the patrons. It reeks of cash grabbing and it's offensive to most fans I know.

I hate it, even if you manage to successfully run the gauntlet after going through the gates, they then come up to you and try and flog you one in your seat !!!

Fug Off I say.

I haven't been to Shark Park in ages, but I do remember being assaulted like this. I thought it was a fair trade off for the fireworks bonanza they put on - Do they still do it?

We play touch footy on the southern hill........

The ticket sellers actually stand in your way and try to sell you tickets when you are running around.....

One of them even complained to secuity saying that we were endangering his safety while he was trying to sell us tickets and tried to get them to stop us playing, so we told him that no means no and to get F'd and stop trying to sell us tickets cause we didn't want to buy any.

Completely OT. This may be a stupid question but so what, which train station is nearest to Shark Park and how long would it take to walk from there?

I have sent email to the sharks complaing about the raffle ticket sellers ( hasn't changed anything ), I don't mind being asked once but I have been asked up to 4 times a game in my season seats in the concourse. I already give plenty of money to the sharks and them annoying boders on harassment.

I hate them as well. Wonder how long it will be before they are harrassing as we have our pre game drinks in the club. Didn't see them in the club at the Broncos game although they may of been there.

Going into the gorund that day I pissed one off only to be approached by the next idiot 5 metres on.

We need f**k THE RAFFLE T Shirts

Oh they are in the club. I have been hassled repeatedly whilst trying to prepare properly for the game.
