It was a team effort. They all went MIA for at least some of the game. judging by how many points they ran down his wing, Hicks shouldn't have played.

deadset worst game i've seen him play, ever. Just when he looked to be on the verge of an Australian jersey, he dishes out that...12 missed tackles, cost Manly several tries with poor defensive reads, and didn't even look remotely threatening in attack.

Round 25 2004.

Trust me, it was much, much worse. However, that was a nothing match.

Penrith game?

StG-I.

34-4 up with about 20 to go.

Two Anthony Watmough Bungled chargedowns lead to tries. A penalty and Dropped ball resulting in tries.

34-36 full time.

Hopefully he learnt the 'Shut the f**k up before a big game' lesson.

Menzies played tonight like he did in the Penrith game of 04.

I thought he was finished after watching that game he just didn't give a sh*t.

Tonight some of his efforts in attack and defence were appalling, amazing considering the occasion and how good he has been this year.

I almost thought I was in the wrong thread for a moment... then I remembered that Lyon-bashing is viable under any topic.
Speaking of which... I considered him the MIA award of the night , possibly of the season. That aside... I found most of the Manly players were exceptionally quiet tonight, noone at all stood out bar maybe Luke Williamson and Brent Kite (early on).
Thought Matai was awesome in a losing team.. never let poor Issy into it
