Just returned from seeing this rubbish called The Mist.
I left the cinema feeling offended.
I can't recommend it.
The ending is offensive.
All the preaching by that lady was offensive.
(I would have popped her earlier in the film.)
It was promising at the begining and turned into a Dawn of The Dead type movie trapped in a shop.
But the ending is not pleasant.
I'm offended at the dialect of the African American's words too, the hypocrite.
See how he was all powerful and upstanding, defying pricks?
I hate authoritive assholes like that.
Especially African Amercians!
The Mist is really drab with that white mist making the movie, I dunno, empty.
And the creatures looked like something out of Star Wars two.
I don't think the computer animated monsters looked any good.
It was cheap and nasty.
I think they should have went with a cheesey ending and made us feel all peachy in victory instead of going with doom and gloom.
(Something about soldiers in gas protective clothing offends me.)
For some reason I automatically thought of Auschwitz and Germany when this film ended for some reason.
I also questioned myself if I'm too old and mature for this sh*t these days.
It's not a film for family entertainment.
I figure the cinema is a place to go to, to feel, I dunno, family orientated you know? It's supposed to be a nice experience. You're supposed to walk away feeling spiritualy cleansed and enlightened.
This film cheats you of any happy feelings.
It robs horror film of a proper ending and standard proceedure.
There is an etiquette and boundry you don't cross in horror film.
Film is getting too serious and the fun is being forgotten about.
The end of this film and its implication can go and get nodded!
Go and see The Waterhorse instead, people.
Don't let this film rob you of emotion God damn it!
It'll sour the mood.
(I prefer IT and The Langolier's.)
I was kind of on a high thismorning as I got my name in todays Daily Telegraph in the letters section then this tripe has altered my day and left me numb with anger for feeling hatred.
Film, I'm afraid to say, has lost me.
My tastes aren't gelling with todays cinema.
It's all bullsh*t.
I'll give Daniel Day Lewis' new movie a go this week and see how that goes.
As for this............it can go to hell.
I just feel so dismal after watching this.
It has dampened my spirits.
Do you think if God unleashed his preasance on Earth he'd be so violent? And I highly doubt he'd be represented by f**ken' grass hoppers and metal spiders!
If we're to be judged does it have to involve bloody, torture and death?
Won't God judge us with a smile and personal gags?
Keep my horror movies cheesey please.
