He's weird but he's right in what he says, there's a lot of politics in the game so it's up to him to sell himself or his "brand".

Definitely nowhere near contender status though, probably needs 5 more wins at least IMO

He said post fight he actually wants arlovski and it's not that absurd a request, but then again everyone provably wants arlovski because of the contender hype he carries

Yeah initially I thought Cain easily...

But watching some of the Embedded episodes today made me pause a little bit.

Cain's camp looked a little too nomadic for my liking. You had Javier Mendez talking about how Cain didn't want to come down early but he convinced him to come down 2 weeks early... Then you see him training at a new gym everyday... Maybe that's fine for him... But most fighters are creatures of habit... And when they are given a city to fight in they usually find a local gym and base themselves there for the entire time they are in that city... And in most cases any future fights in that city.

I still think that Cain's relentless pressure and pace will wear Werdum down... But I have some serious questions over Cains long term desire to fight.

I'm interested to see what happens after this fight...

I'm kind of with shiznit on this one. Something feels different with Cain and I feel like Werdum is the more motivated, in shape and in his prime guy and will take this one out some how. Possibly TKO.

It will be a bloodbath, Cain is the most determined I've ever seen him, there's a can of whoopass getting opened

Really??? I'm quite the opposite...

Watching the build up to this fight I'm wondering if he's still carrying some injuries.

This kinda reminds me of his first fight with Junior... He just looks like he's coming in underdone.

I could be looking too much into it... As he's always been a real laid back character at the best of times... And his just so relentless that even if he's underdone he can overwhelm most opponents.

Maybe I'll see that edge come back to him come weigh in time...

Werdum just beat the shit out of Cain.

On the feet, in the clinch, the wrestle, on the ground...Cain had nothing that worried Werdum.

Cain looked like a shadow of his former self, personally I think we might have seen the best of him, honestly have to wonder if the motivation is still there for him

Yeah... Cain just didn't look right from the start of his camp. I think he was well underdone TBH...

The irony is I reckon if they fight again I think a fit and firing Cain will dominate him...

Whether he can truly be fit again is the question...

Shiznit and I called it.

Cain's been out a long time and did not look fit.

I think next time, provided he still has that motivation, he will be back to the non-stop pace and be more clinical, stronger, smarter and fitter.

Seeing how quickly he locked up that guillotine, I wonder if others will be so eager to shoot a double on werdum

There's nothing at all surprising about that... He's always been the scariest dude on the floor.

What's changed things for him is his stand up.... He has come on leaps and bounds with his stand up.

He's still susceptible to pure power... But he's nothing like he was when he fought Overeem in strikeforce.

I'd like to see a rematch between Cigano and Vai Cavalo first up...

I'd say Cigano wins... But it would be HUGE in Brazil...
