So Mcgregor or Money?

Cant get past the size factor, Conor has this in the bag I think, would love to see Mendes get up too so win either way for me

I would LOVE Conor to be the real deal and go out there a stuff Mendes takedowns and the knock him out.

But Mendes has the runs on the board. We know he's the real deal.

It sounds crazy but I was more confident for Conor against Aldo than Mendes. At least with Aldo you knew the fight was going to take place in Conor's wheelhouse.

Mendes is going use his wrestling to put Conor on his back and control him for the entire fight. Conor might give up late in the fight and give up a sub...

But as much as I love the excitement Conor brings... He has too many question marks to answer at the moment compared to Mendes.

Well the weigh ins were crazy!!

McGregor and Urijah Faber even had an awkward little moment in the corridors... They called it a 'physical altercation' but it looked more like Faber was joking around and it all of a sudden got weirdly serious.

Mendes is paying 1.35 for the most take downs in the fight. Money for jam.

I had Aldo via murder... This fight with the short prep time for Mendes makes it hard but I still think he will grind it out

Mcgregor walking through shots like he was the terminator, just looks so big for the division. Can't argue with size and put that together with heart, confidence and will to win that Conor seems to has, you get a pretty dominant fighter

I've never seen Mendes treated like that.

Lawler v McDonald was amazing too.... Both guys were awesome.

I wouldn't hesitate to say that was one of the greatest cards of all time.

There's been many big PPVs that never lived up to the hype, this one went beyond!

Conor was up against it tonight and came away with the win, LOVE IT!

And how bone chilling was the Lawler - Macdonald stare-down at the end of round 4, as if they were possessed

Conor beats Aldo IMO unless it's in Brazil
Well that's the thing... Unless Aldo is going to start wrestling... He's going to have to stand with Conor.

And what Conor did to Mendes in the stand up was just scary.

Aldo caught Mendes in his first fight with a knee out of a scramble... But that was kind of against the run of the fight and Mendes was pretty inexperienced at that point. In the 2nd fight Mendes stood toe to toe with Aldo and lost a close decision.

Conor made Mendes stand up look ordinary to say the least. He's got a granite chin, long reach and he's accurate as hell.

Aldo poses much more questions of his stand up though... I'm interested to see how Conor copes with his leg kicks... But Conor just looks so god damn fluid and at ease with his striking.

I'll be backing Conor anyway....

Either way it will make SHITLOADS of $$$

Edit: imagine correia beats rousey and they have the rematch on the same card as Aldo vs Mcgregor. The PPV counter would explode

I think after this Frankie is probably a bigger worry with his wrestling.

One thing for damn sure though.... Aldo v McGregor is going to be one of the biggest fights in UFC history.

I'm picking the Aldo fight to happen in Vegas on the New Years card...

And they were already pumping up UFC 200 for July 2016... Could that be in New York perhaps?? Frankie Edgar vs Aldo/McGregor winner?

dana has already promised connor the aldo rematch at croke park if he wins the unification fight. so if it's at new york, it will be because aldo's defended his belt.

If Conor were to beat Aldo pretty well in the unification fight... I don't think there will be a rematch.

They will need to move the contenders along to get the division moving. Frankie would be up after that i assume.

The hard part for Frankie is that now Conor has officially overtaken him in the rankings he might be forced to take a dangerous fight with Mendes as the layoff might be too long without one.

But your right about the Croke park fight... Yeah that's supposed to be Conor's first defence.
