He's been playing in a mid to bottom half of the table side. Put him in a team with quality players who will give him the quality balls that ALL strikers need and he shows his class. As has already been proved....... I refer you to my previous post...... 9 international goals in 13 starts would indicate a very talented young player.

And yes he is over-rated at 18.(in comparison to the top strikers in Europe).
Rooney got big wraps as a 16 yr old. (deservedly so) at 17 too and now at 18.
He is a great 18 yr old but he is not even a Michael Owen yet.
He has had 3 very good games at top level.
Lets see him do it week in week out. (which he has yet to do in the premiership).

Was offside 18 times and gave away 44 free kicks.
Not my idea of a Pele but he has been great at Euro 2004-so far.
