Love Vibes, Cyndi,Jeff Goldblum and Columbo. Also I have to say that Cyndi Lauper is still one of the best concerts I've been to.
I saw her at the Entertainment Centre in 1989. I wanted to go to the Enmore show but I was interstate at the time. Good to hear that you agree that she puts on a hell of a show.I have seen Cyndi at least 4 times, the first time was back in either 1989 or 1990 at the Entertainment Centre, then i have seen her at the State Theatre, cant remember what year it was but i rate as one of the best concerts i have seen then later again at the Enmore Theatre when she did the She So Unusual album which was a ripper concert where she explained how the tracks came about between the songs, also saw her as one of the opening concerts at the new ICC where she was on the bill with Debbie Harry, another great night.
Vibes is such a fun movie.

I really wish I could have gone to the Enmore show, sounds like it was a great night. I really enjoy hearing songwriters discuss how their songs came about. Its funny, the 1989 concert a friend rung me up at work and said they had a spare ticket for the concert that night, i liked Cyndi but never thought about going to see her so i said yes straight away, i bought the She So Unusual album probably a few days later after that. The concert i saw her at the State Theatre was the best i had seen, she was jumping up and dancing on the speakers on the stage, then came down and was dancing on the seats, she then laid across the laps of two stony faced women and started singing, she warned them she was going to do it if they didn't smile and of course they didn't so she did what she promised, lol.
The Enmore show was a great one also, it was so funny, a woman in the crowd ran up to the stage and said we love you Cyndi but could you stopped talking and just sing, the whole crowd booed this woman and she got thrown out, i actually found the stories of the songs very interesting, she did the whole album in the correct order of songs on the album, it was a great night.

I love Debbie too. Have you ever seen the David Cronenberg film Videodrome? If you like Debbie it's a must see.It was a great night and i love having the Enmore theatre virtually around the corner from where i live, i just couldn't believed the woman who wanted Cyndi to stop talking, glad she got thrown out.
The ICC concert was good but mainly went to see Debbie Harry and Blondie, Cyndi was an added bonus, Boy George dropped in and surprised Cyndi that night which was great too.
Havent seen it, just checked out the synopsis, it does look interesting.I love Debbie too. Have you ever seen the David Cronenberg film Videodrome? If you like Debbie it's a must see.
I'm a big fan of David Cronenberg and Videodrome is easily his best film. Debbie is excellent in it as is James Woods. I guess the best way to describe it is it's kind of like an acid trip.Havent seen it, just checked out the synopsis, it does look interesting.

Make sure you watch the unrated version. The cut version can be a little hard to follow.Just watched the trailer, yeah it does look a bit like an acid trip, think i would probably like it.
Speaking of Debbie, here are my 2 favourite Blondie songs
