Still have this single on vinyl , a German pressing of the single that i bought from a second hand record shop on Pitt St opposite where World Square is now ( the name of the record/book shop just escapes me at the minute ), lol it just came to , it was Ashwoods, the single had the big hole in the middle where you had to put a bit in the middle to play it on the turntable.

The album Time was a good one, Jeff Lynne was definitely going on a different track with ELO at that time and it was different to what ELO fans were used to hearing. I had the album on vinyl and it was one of the first albums i bought on CD but it was on a budget label at the time and the quality was ordinary, i ended up buying the expanded album released on CD a few years ago and the quality is excellent but with any expended album it had added tracks, i usually like the added tracks on the album and the tracks added to this were good but the problem was Time was a concept album with a specific theme and the added tracks do not fit in with the theme of the album so if i listen to Time in full i only want to hear the original album.

Had one of those strange days at work, sort of glass half empty/ half full, was getting annoyed with how busy it was when it shouldn't have been, finally put my IPOD on for the last two hours of the shift and while it was quiet heard a customer humming away under his mask to Donna Summer's This Time I know Its For Real which made me feel good.

Just a bit later Colleen Hewitt's version of Carry That Weight cam up followed by The Beatles Hey Jude, both i turned up loud, my IPOD hadn't played Hey Jude for such a long long time, lol.

Not long after these two came up in a row

For some reason i felt a bit depressed listening to such a beautiful song as My Love My Life considering what a f*cked state everything is in at the moment.

Interesting clip on you tube and you need more than the the two songs each one sings here to make up up your mind. When i was younger i was definitely pro Frida but in my older years i really appreciate Agnetha but one thing that cannot be argued is both of the voices combined gave ABBA that beautiful dreamy angel like quality that cannot be equaled.

In my later years though i have picked up more nuances and accent in Agnetha's voice which i didn't notice when i was younger.
