No seriously, I'm suggesting it for your benefit. You'll get arthritis.
All is not lost. We will lose a few more games over the next few weeks, re-group, play some nice fancy football, but ultimately leave our run too late again and finish 9th. Despite this failure, the spastics in the media will wax lyrical about our great coach despite his 1 in 15 record post 1996, and they will tell us all how great his tactics are when we go down the short side for the 15,864th time in the last match of 2010 when there is nothing to play for, which we will win by 30 points or more. The Tigers board will then give Sheens another two year extension citing his worth as the Australian coach and saying how his record is unmatched.
Then our coach and captain will tell the fans that they can't wait for next season and how our attitude is going to change and we will be a tougher, mentally stronger side in 2011.
You sound like you've heard all that somewhere before mate.
gets trotted more often than the "Owen Craigie has turned the corner" headline that ran every year from 99 to 2004 in pre season press.
that name still haunts me as a knights fan. The bloke made the Australian schoolboys in year 10, 1st grade at 16 and was a premiership winner at 19, he had the world at his feet playing in a backline that contained MacDougall, Darren Albert, Robbie O'Davis and both the Johns boys. He came through the grades with Danny Buderus, and even though they're different players, Craigie had twice the natural ability as Buderus, yet Buderus will go down as one of the best players of his era and Craigie will go down as the biggest bust EVER.
Ah, good old Owen Craigie, that guy could have been anything.

Back to Teflon, I wonder what new revolutionary tactic he's conjouring up as we speak. Only thing for certain is that Fitzhenry will be involved in a major way
Minto did look like Bennett, and the players seeing him on the field might be scared and make them to keep thier minds on the job :lol:There is more chance of the economy being in surplus next week than Teflon dumping Fitzhenry.
Sheens is like Bennett and his love of Scott Minto...difference being that Bennett dropped him from time to time....and never had him on the bench (to my knowledge)

All I would like to say is, shut it tigers fans.
The man won you a premiership.
f**k me. Imagine how much coin Wicks & House could have made up there in the late 90's.
I agree sheens won the tigers a competition a mere 5 years ago. He has not gone bad overnight and the tigers should do everything they can to retain him.
I will preface this comment by saying that I am married and in 2004 my wife gave me the absolute best H.... J... i've ever had. It was divine and heavenly. We don't speak, she doesn't cook, doesn't clean, the house is a mess and I have to take the kids to school every day whilst she plays tennis but we aren't divorced as I live in hope that HJ from 2004 is repeated. Just last week she was about to do the deed, then said she had a headache - she did remind me that this was a reason not an excuse, so I forgave her
