The Broncos dished it out as much as they got it, give credit where credit is due, this wasn't a one sided match.
1 team is a hell of a lot more battered today than the other. The reason they had less players was because they got smashed.
In terms of physicality, it was a one sided affair.

Oh please get some glasses.

Tate's shoulder went in a pretty soft tackle, Berrigan's ham-string went again and Ikin got his head crunched in betwwen a shark and Carlaw.

Good win to the sharks, they deserved the win, but don't make it sound like the injuries were the result of the sharks defense, they were just unlucky injuries, nothing more.

Yeah Kiwi you're probably right but, let us have this one moment. It's been a tough couple of years.

A good win by any account though.

Much was made in the press of the Bonco injury list.

Any news on the injury front for Peach, Nigel et al

I may, but definitely not from your optomitrist.
Ikin got smashed trying to tackle Stevo. This is a common result from people who try to tackle Stevo. End result when you take on ourcheif hurtman, concussion. Stevo should open up shares in casualty ward.
So you know which tackle hurt Tate do you? Was itthe one where BK drove him or the one 4 tackles before where Goldy absolutely smashed him?
& Berrigan was being driven backwards when he did his leg by 3 defenders.
It was a smash up of the highest order against one of the best in the business.
The Broncos are reeling today.

Fine you wanna play it that way.

Reeling in SECOND spot and not holding onto EIGHTH by our finger tips.

Sharks best in the business? Thats some funny shit right there, hows eighth looking? Sharks will be lucky to finish there this year, 10 if they are lucky. The only teams the Sharks have beaten that mean anything are the Storm and Broncos, and the Sharks needed a serious injury toll before and during the match to beat the Broncos. Good luck with your dreaming about finishing in the 8.

How was losing 8 in a row last year?
We are not holding on at all.
we climbed into it by our fingertips for the first time in near 2 years.
We play you guys at home again in a few weeks & we will be even better then.
bring on your full squad! f**k even play with 18! We have the Broncs measure.

P.S.
Our coach completely out thought yours yesterday. So thats 2 areas we are better at than you this year.

As much as I agree with that thought, I am not sure outhinking N. Brown is a very big ask.

I've got shoes with more intelligence.

Atleast we made the finals last year? How were the finals for the Sharks in 2003? Hows the trophey cabinet looking? AS full as it's gonna get......with dust.

Broncos at full strength would piss on the Sharks, and it'll show in round 21. Even with out our first choice halfback and hooker the Sharks will be definned and turned into soup.

Your coach better than Bennett, rightio, maybe they shouldn't take you out of the padded room anymore, we wouldn't want you have an accident by thinking and hurting yourself now would we.

You've got as much as the Sharks throphey cabinet little man, nothing.

wow your interlect overwhelms me, how long did that take you to come with that?

I'd say like reefy, the chance of you coming up with something smart, funny and intelligent to say is the same odds as the Sharks winning a premiership.............none.

I was at the game and have watched it back on tape. It was a dead set smash-a-thon with willing participants from both sides. One of the indicators of success in a smash-a-thon is who is left standing at the end. Hands down winners -- the Sharks.

On a personal and bragging and told you so note, for those who have the game on tape have a look at Toni Carroll being smashed by the Sharks number 4 -- after he plays the ball he is doubled over and not very effective after that. Have a look at the tackle and head lock on Shane Webcke by the same Sharks centre. Then of course there two tackles on Brent Tate, one when Tate got a kick on the ball but at the same time taken over the side line, taking out the Touchy as well (should count as a double in the stats  ) and then the one that smashed Tate as mentioned above. And I haven't even mentioned the tackles on 70centalitre or big red or Chief De Beers or Locky or .... I am biased for sure, but at the end of the game there was only 1 of the original centres still left standing.

Mate very original. Thanks for putting in 110% of thought for that one.

Well rnd 21 will prove one of us right & one of us wrong. I'm quite calm about it, you keep simmering & wondering.

Our coach has a long way to go to catch up to bennet.
But on yesterdays performance & this years performance it S.Raper 1 W.Bennet 0. Supported by all of the commentary team yesterday.

I may only be 5'2" bald man, but I'm hung like a drunken carpet snake falling out of a gum tree & I'm happy with that.

I'm not simming and wondering about round 21, the Sharks will lose.

I'm not even gonna get into the Bennett v Raper debate because that is just laughable and I can't bring myself to even consider having to debate such a thing with an idiot.

As for the last comment, it's true the people who feel the need to brag have got nothing, sums up the sharks fans, so carry on then I guess.

yeah well, I tried telling mcsharkie & the Goldy baggers thesame but you know when they get something in their heads,......
goldy is an associate member of the Bruise Bros. Can't get full membership until he goes to the pack.
Now a few questions on Goldy.
What do you reckon his 100m time is?
Why does he like to let the players on the outside?
The reason I ask, is that on a couple of occassions there was near catastrophe for him yesterday because I don't believe he is quick enough to do that against some players of the speed of Tate or as was shown against St Geo Gasnier.
Constructive Criticism that I am willing to concede on. for the right answers of course.

You like to leave out Nutley getting smashed by Webcke several times, Stevens getting hammered also, Stevens, Nutley and co bouncing off an injured Webcke, Petero, Carlaw, and Parker on a regular basis, Carroll cleaning up a few players. It was two sided the bash-a-thon, like it or not.
