Just saw Toni's missed penalty. Weisse didnt have to do much.

Mind you, the penalty came from typical weisse brainsnap, bringing down Toni.

It was clearly a goal.

Kroos has had some nice touches.

and Borowski's miss, wasnt a good chance but wouldnt really call it a sitter.

It was a ball back across the box....Roseberg probably in a better position took an airswing then borowski hit it over

Aberdeen could have had two penalties from handballs but didnt even get one.

Also, Rensing was in goals.

another note, I saw a reference on football365 to a $2 million bid for david carney. I dont believe it, bit that rumour keeps popping up time and again.

Comfortable three zip win over Hannover this morning.

Luca Toni scored all three. Reports have Schweini playing well with some assists. He has been a bit down, so that is heartening to read. Looking forward to the replay tonight on Setanta.

3-0 against Hannover.

5-1 this morning ahainst Aberdeen. Podolski started ahead of Klose and scored twice. Hope that stays that way for the weekend. Klose has been out of sorts.

Also, it was actually a huge morning for the bundesliga sides.

Leverkusen put 5 past Galatasaray, and barring 2 late goals nuremburg have dumped out benfica.
