Semi has been nothing short of a revelation.

It's been a long time since we have had a player, except for The Plane, who can ignite a crowd everytime he touches a ball. Guru Snr would be proud of this guy.

I am actually more impressed with some of his defensive efforts. He creamed Cordner in that break at the start of the game and stopped that break in the last few seconds. He strikes as me as someone who takes it personally when others players try to run past him.

not only his defence he tries and covers from his wing when a break is made.

For the oldies who used to watch games on the telly, a break would be made on one side of the field against us. The commentator would say shut the gates. THen you would see Grothe Snr screaming across the screen and tackle the player and prevent a try. He not only did that once, he did that many times,

In our last ditch defense this year, Hayne holds off and holds off in defense and you will see semi coming across and then Hayne will commit know the trailer is there

So ends the streak.

With our left-edge accounting for itself so well earlier in the season, it was frustrating watching us almost refuse to attack down it over the last two weeks.

That's because Brooks and Thurston defend on the left (our right).

Carney defends on the right, which means Marshall could be on the left.

That doesn't mean you abandon an attacking structure that has yielded excellent returns.

I agree that we should be looking to exploit the weaker edges week-to-week but we have given Tonga and Radradra almost zero quality ball in the last two weeks.
