The bitter memories of 2006 GF loss has well and truly been erased.
Manly now has to learn the Heimlich manouvre.

To all you people who thought the Storm were chokers.

Well done Storm! I'm delighted for them as my 2nd team. More than anything the reason for my cheering them on keenly and wearing their banner was because they deserved the title after playing so well for 2 years (perhaps I may ease off with their enthusiasm a little bit now they've got one) They had to do it on the night and they delivered and then some! Thinking about getting the Grand Final DVD. Manly didn't put up the best fight but the Storm were awesome. Their forwards especially Cross, Newton and Crocker off the bench were great and Inglis had his best game of the year.

How F'ing good does it feel!

I love it when the players say they can't describe the feeling, but then go on describing it as "just unbelievable mate" or "just awesome."

Good win, i even hugged all the Storm boys after the win, it was great.

Really thought they deserved to win it after being minor premiers for two years, i cant believe all this talk about how there arent any great teams around and never will be, STORM LOST 8 GAMES IN TWO YEARS!! In a close competition is highly impressive.

Everyone will start to hate them more now they are sucessfull and i think thats great, they are from Melbourne. Bring in that Vic vs NSW rivarly into league even though i like the Storm.

I think too many people are hating them in an unrespectful manner. They are one of my more favoured teams besides Penrith but certain people need to learn some sportsmanship. Instead of saying they cheated or they are thugs. They are easily the best team in the comp at the moment, love or loath them you should be able to admit that.

The only good thing to come out of the 2007 GF was that everyone was going to be happy with whoever lost.

Melbourne are a f*cking boring team that sometimes turn it on when their guns are feeling up to it. They are grubby. No one's jumping for joy to see them with a Premiership, they are just happy to see Manly without one.

Agreed, 100%. I dont care what anyone says, Bellamy is a great coach. With what he has done with their players is great.

whatever Guru.

Did you make your last appointment?

What you saw tonight was the strike power Melbourne had up its sleeve, i.e. power from Crocker & White, blistering breaks from Inglis and Slater to name a few.

You may think Parra are an exciting team now but in the early years under Brian Smith when people like Penna and Kusto were in the team, they were what I would call f**king boring  Well drilled but couldn't win a comp. I wouldn't exactly call the Storm boring, though they are methodical and well drilled which I guess makes some people find them boring.

I was jumping for joy. I was happy for Bellamy and his band of Inglis, Folau, Slater, Crocker, Smith yep real boring , that got the premiership they deserved.

Pretty much swept all before them late in the season not conceding more than 10 points in any of their games since Round 22.
